We found the place welcoming. Well decorated. Considering we take a tea and a pie, we somewhat expensive. As a late Saturday afternoon and I was only us and another couple thought the attendant was one discouraged as much as we waited about 10 minutes just to eat pie. Perhaps the service was a point outside curve that day .....

This restaurant is located at the feet of Pedra do Bau, a beatiful rocky mountain. Trekkers and climber are the most common visitors. The food is served by the kilo method and is mostly `mineira`, wich means lots of fried food. The food is good, the beers are cold and the view is wonderful!

You find a little of everything in this restaurant. All the receips from the são paulo and minas countryside isthere for your delight. The "torresminho" pork fat, deep fried is just wonderful. Nice Deserts and a free taste of the house "pinga" ( sugar cane spirit) is all you need to appreciate a nice and typical lunch!

Nice restaurant. Nothing special though. Went there with my girlfriend, had meat foundue as the main dish and chocolate foundue, which was delicious, as desert. The price is a little high for what they offer. The good thing is that they charge only R$30 if you take your own bottle of wine, which is worth it if you take a good one like we did. The environment is cozy.

It is a good place to eat dessert and of you are a fan of x-bread this is a good option in the town. The service is a little slow considering we came from Sao Paulo.Thank you for your evaluation. We are very happy that you liked our property. When visiting São Bento do Sapucaí, always return to Doce Café. Have a great week.

The place is a mixture of antique shop ( he doesn´t sell anything) and a restaurant. Very nice ambience. The owner, Abel, is very friendly and helps you feel at home. Very Italian.. The he stays around to see if everything is perfect. They have mostly two kind of dishes a day. Nhoqui, spaghetti and lasanha, with 3 kinds of sauces ( the gorgonzola cheese is the best) or you can have a fish ( truta raised in the city) with of the pastas. They have wines, but a small selection, beers - but only two comercial brands and nice Deserts. It is a good place to be and chat around.

This restaurant is located downtown on a beautiful old brick building with high ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. The food is beautifully displaced and kept warm on a firewood style stove. There is a big selection of meat, fish and chicken dishes. Many choices of vegetables as well. Barbecue, feijoada and couve were my favorite. Had a delicious caipirinha drink. Food is priced by kilo and a simple selection of Deserts are included in the price. I wish they had a bigger selection of Deserts even if I Had to pay for it.

A nice alternative tearoom and shop. Tea mixture very different and good. Coffee for selected farms. Home made bread which make lovely sandwiches. In the shop the sell jams, cakes,, healthy cosmetics, croche, cheese and various juices. Very friendly assistance. Worth the stop if you want a differnet bite and a healthy drink.
