This is an absolutely nothing tiny restaurant in a good location. I notice all the reviews are in Spanish and maybe an English reviewer will be seen as not appreciating Spanish cuisine but I live in Spain and love Spanish food, especially fish and shellfish. This was one of the worse overpriced examples of Spanish cuisine I have ever encountered. For â¬13 I had a tiny bowl of clams and the only flavour was salt. My wife had about 8 gambas for a similarly high price. I am working my way around the other Tripadvisor rated restaurants in Sanxenxo and I simply cannot believe that this restaurant is mentioned in the same league as the other restaurants in Sanxenxo.

We have chosen this place for a birthday party. Mardivino Asador is a restaurant by the hotel with a terrace facing the nice lagoon. We ate inside since Sanxenxo is a very controversial resort, it can be +30 during the day, but +16 in the evening. Steaks ordered were perfect, birthday cake was perfect, service was perfect. Dinner for 9 with 2 cavas and 1 rebeira crianza totaled 280⬠and a lot of positive emotions.

We eat some reasonable seafood for starters, followed by a good paella. The sangria is not handmade but was not bad. A little expensive for the quality of the food.

We had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a few days. The food lived up to expectations great chiporones to start and turbot cooked the Galician way for the main. Amanda had sole a la plancha which she said was the best she had tasted! The front of house is friendly and helpful too! The only drawback is the proximity to a very loud and noisy fairground!!

The calamares a la romana was the best among the restaurants we've tried in Pontevedra/ nearby. It was very tender and very tasty. Although, my Galician husband preferred it to have less/ thinner coating. The bread was very fresh and the pescaditos fritos (fried small sardines) yummy. I loved the ambiance, too. The restuarant looked clean. The price is normal except for the tortilla entera which was so huge that it cost us 14 euros. I personally liked it but not loved it because they didn't put any onion in it and it was quite runny in the center (as how it should be for some, if not most). But with my Galician sister-in-law, it was very good. On the other side of the coin, the restaurant is packed as it is famous. The are tables so small. With only one or two waiters, expect to wait. Also, expect to find it hard to catch their attention. Even to these aforementioned things, we are coming back! This is a modern restaurant just off the sea front in Sanxenxo. It offers a menu of fresh seafood bought that day from the market. The owner will buy in anything you want specially and he always has specials of the day.

Booked in advance after Reading TA Reviews. The have a menu for 45eur or 37eur or a la carte.we chose the smaller menu, it was mainly fish and seafood with meat as the main, all beautifully prepared and a little inventive.Actually a bit of a foodies heaven . Highly recommend it

We came here recently with our 2 year old daughter. The staff were very accommodating and provided paper and crayons. We had the tortilla, pasta salad with pink sauce, the beef taco. All were delicious and very good value. Plenty of room for our toddler to move around and the staff brought her a little treat after. Very impressed and would definitely return.

Friendly restaurant on seafront at Portonovo, delicious food, varied menu, loved the prawn skewers - so good we had them twice! And the mixed croquettes - delicious! Generous tapas with drinks which vary every day - choose one from a menu of three! Good value, good service, especially from Lara who made us so welcome! Will definitely recommend to anyone! Hope we get back again one day!

After two evenings within "the crowd" of nice but hectic Restaurants, we spent an evening at Michael's. The choice of food is limited but everything we had was delicious - the tuna starter as well as the scallops and as main the bacalao fish and the beef speciality. The team is very friendly and the modern atmosphere refreshing after a week of spanish tradition....At the end, we were offered a coffee and a brandy - we will be back next time
