Not all beautiful places are actually beautiful. Mayas is an exceptionally beautiful place. It is an aesthetically made theme based resort with each room and suite decorated as per different theme.. greenery all over.. lush green lawn.. well maintained swimming pool.. open air stage showcasing musical programmes ... The resort could have had more number of rooms but they kept ample sit outs everywhere with super comfy couches. Food packages are Rs 750 per head which covers breakfast lunch evening snacks and dinner. Food was awesome ... quantity...quality and variety was good. Service was promt. Staff was courteous and helpful. There are outdoor activities like cycling etc. The only problem is that u might not be able to venture santiniketan as you might not feel like going out leaving the resort.

The Rangamati garden resort is a decent place for a family stay in Shantiniketan. Rooms are comfortable and value for money. My rooms were sanitized on arrival and staff wore masks while serving us. The food was good - i had specific requirements as I was travelling with a kid and the staff did everything possible to meet those specifications. There are totos available outside and one can get a contract for sightseeing. The hotel has a nice mango garden where one can have a pleasant stroll in the morning / evening. Staff was friendly. I enjoyed my stay here and will recommend the place if you are looking for a good ambience, peaceful stay & good food.

I visited Tarapith and Bolpur in Dec2021. It was a family trip. I had a 7 years old kid and senior citizen parents wirh me. Basically i booked this hotel online through their website . The best part is you can book the property by room number from wesite. One recommendation will be to book rooms on 1st Floor. That will give you the best views ( example : Room no 5 &6). The Hotel is decorated with a rural concept and you will get the feeling of mud house. So do not expect any high end luxury in the room. But you will have basic amenities like - AC/ mini fridge/ geyser etc. The USP of this property is its food. It is budget friendly yet yummy taste. If you are not a resident of the hotel then you will need to collect advance lunch token to get your chance. I am told by the manager that they have served lunch to 1000+ people on 25th Dec. People from all over Bolpur come to taste food here. The Sonsjhuri Haat is just outside the Hotel campus. In fact you can enjoy Baul Dance and Tribal Dhamsha Madol dance sitting on your balcony. The room rent is also decent. You will get Rooms in the range of INR 2000 - 2500. They have POS facility for all payments. The only challenge i faced was the service timeline. May to due to extreme rush on account of festive season they were unable to serve breakfast/ Lunch / Dinner on time and they have denied to accept orders in few instances. Management should look into this and take some corrective actions I have covered this hotel and Bolpur in my Youtube Channel. You will get the link in my profile. Do take time out to view and share your opinion

At Deer Park Eco Home, you'll feel more like staying in a home rather than a hotel. We will try and make you feel comfortable and looked after as much as we can. Ours is a small house - simple, clean, very close but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. Located at the lap of nature, overlooking the Ballavpur forest from the rooms, it is walking distance from Santiniketan Mela Ground. Staff is friendly and warm, with cozy, clean and spacious rooms.
It was a home stay without a kitchen access by the guests. The stay was at all enjoyable due to the non courteous staff/main caretaker. Room rent was very high in comparison to similar guesthouses/home stays. Toilets were not at all clean. The simple crockeries viz tea cups were very cheap quality products and were also cracked. Unbelievable! No soccer and tea pot were provided. Electric kettle was absolutely dirty. We took two rooms for two nights, one in ground floor and another in first floor. At night the first floor toilet's geaser and exhaust fan both were switched off by the caretaker. We asked for a second blanket for the first floor room and got one but that was taken out from our ground floor room! We had to take food as per the caretaker's choice and not as per our choice! So sometimes we were forced to take meals from outside. And the worst part of it was the rude and impolite behaviour of the caretaker lady named Namita. I will not recommend anyone to stay in this property.

If you are looking for the perfect getaway with friends and family, this is the place to be. Nestled amongst lush trees it gives you the warmth and love of a home away from home. The hosts Shuba Di and Dhrubo Da will go out of their way to make you feel pampered. Couldn’t have asked for a better holiday before my son flies out for college. To experience the solitude, beauty, and everything that is typically “Shantiniketan” visit Guloncho homestay.
