I asked for a Filet Mignon. The meat was a little hard and dry. The sauce helped out to mitigate the problem. Most of the eaters surrounding me were busy with the menu of the day....Good to learn!

In an unassuming corner too find this spot. It has wowed a couple of times by the sheer lightness of its desserts and the complex flavours of its snacks.Don't expect great views in the patio (the view is blocked by a giant 'boxwood?'), don't expect comfort in the chairs, but absolutely delight on the crispy emparedados, and the sweetness of its requeson (which up until I tasted here may have never been in your list of life pleasures)Unfortunately this is not a cheap place for the area but it is not pricy for what it delivers.A place to remember.

A modern and high rise tower with 18 floors with panoramic views of the entire city of Bucaramanga, connected to the hotel is the Cacique mall with local favorite shops as well as international chains, ATMâs as well as some casual restaurants and outdoor
Inside the Holiday Inn, I visited the place two times while at the hotel. From the 16th floor, the view is amazing any time in the day or, specially, at night. Sit outside, specially for dinner. Large, spacious and nicely illuminated and aired, 1622 offers an eclectic menu at friendly prices. I suggest the creamy shrimp rice - filled with lots of fresh shrimps, it is soooo rich that I had it for dinner two consecutive nights. Service, yet friendly, is inattentive and somewhat poor, in a need of substantial improvement. Desserts are disappointing, as well, thanks to the lack of "wow" options on the menu. Urgent improvement needed.Dear Fabio,We are extremely happy to read you again, thank you to help us to improve everyday with your comments, will definitely improve our deserts and the service. We are happy that you enjoyed the breath-taking views of the city and the Restaurant.Looking forward to welcome you again, Warm regards,Andrea JaimesCommunity Manager

Took 2 guests with me on my very first dining experience at Tavolo. It was highly recommended by a friend, and the food earned every bit of her recommendation. The seafood is among the best I've tasted; i had the "Robalo Fusion" (snook fish with a slightly spicy tang which only added to the fish that was covered with shrimp). It was my first taste of snook (which abound in the waters off Florida) and it is NOT my last. The fish was prepared to perfection and I can only hope when I return to this restaurant, it will be prepare exactly as last evening. A true gourmet delight. Appetizer was thin slices of octopus, with a perfect sauce of a dash of curry and turmeric, and could have served as the entree. Another delight to taste. One of my guests enjoyed the "Mero Fusion" and the grouper (mero) also was done to perfection/ Combine the fish with delicious coconut rice (or garlic rice) and you have the combination that makes a perfect meal. The American red zinfandel went perfectly with both the appetizer and entree so I recommend it to any who wish to try these dishes. The quality of the food is well worth the medium to medium - price point. Service was prompt, courteous, efficient, and very friendly. I very much look forward to a return visit - the sooner, the better. I unreservedly recommend Tavolo whenever you visit Bucaramanga. Do not miss out on this great dining experience.Dear Lennie, thanks for your opinion and hope to se you again in Bucaramanga and in Tavolo Gourmet.
