Anyone that knows me also knows that I am not one to enjoy fast-food. Normally I tend to steer clear of such places. But having arrived late and hungry to Bucaramanga, we made a quick decision. Trip Advisor reviews pointed us to this place which was coincidentally just around the corner from our hotel. Now I'm a believer and know exactly why the reviews were favourable. The chicken was cooked perfect. Nice and crunchy, juicy inside and little to no grease to deal with. Even setting a piece on a serviette left little trace of the greasy mess one expects to deal with for deep fried foods. The value was great as well. We both ate hearty and still had plenty of leftovers for our lunch the next day. Even cold it was still almost as good as the night before.

I went to this place twice at the weekend, I was in Bucaramanga on business so visited alone as it was quite close to my hotel. The first night, was a typical Colombian pub experience, they immediately attend to you and bring you a menu, take a drink order. Bring your drink to you, then it is impossible to get anyone's attention to take your food order, or get another drink, and then ultimately to get the bill. All pretty annoying. The place was almost empty and the one server seemed completely oblivious to the two tables that were occupied.Unphased I went back, service was better, it was busier and the wait for drinks and food were less painful. They screwed up my food order, in fairness they offered me a free desert as an apology. I didn't want a desert thoughLike lots of places in Colombia, they have the menu and the decor but completely mess up the execution.
Tapas Bar, with Vasc and Spanish influence. You can find a big flavors offer (beef, pork, seafood, vegan, chicken, delicatessen, potato spanish cake ).. Typical spanish plates on weekends for lunch (paella, pork ,etc) You can come and enjoy a coffee, red
If you haven't been to Spain but would love to travel in you palate, go to this place, the atmosphere is great, the service is awesome and the food is just outstanding, very well done, the wine options are reasonable as the prices too, I am so glad that, a place like this one is in the Beautiful town of Bucaramanga

We had lunch here at Panachi. Beef was absolutely great. Service was great as well. To top it off...they receive credit cards!!! That became a plus since we had to pay cash almost everywhere and for everything!

I ate a shrimp risotto here but the real winner was the dessert: a passion fruit bavaroise. However, the highlight dish here it a salmon...Which I will be tasting a next visit. To me everything is OK!

Highly over rated restaurant in Bucaramanga. The menu is quite disapointing and kind of expensive.Too much salt on every dish and the service was so slow: we had to wait almost 10 minutes to have a waitress and 45 more minutes for our dishes....Try another restaurant in the area, they are much better than this one.

Bucaramanga is Colombian's secret treasure. The city has the best quality of life in the country. That translate into a great city for tourism. It is safer that any other city in the country and it offers a great portfolio of activities. The exchange rate dollar / peso make it very affordable for family vacationing. Traffics is great, you can commute to any point of the city under 20 minutes. In recent years the city has transformed itself. You now find great hotels, restaurants, malls and activities. If you like sports, you can stay in either Ruitoque or Club Campestre. Both offer international renown golf courses and tennis courts. If you are a little adventurous, you can paraglide in the mountains nearby (very good paraglide schools) or you can go to Sanguil to canoe in the rapids of the rivers. For family activities, you can go to the nearby mountains to ride in the cable cards to visit several attractions like Panachi, Chicamocha and El Santisimo or go to la Mesa de los Santos to many of the lake resorts. I stayed in the country club Campestre with my family, I played golf and my family enjoyed the pool and tennis. If you feel adventurous just dump Cartagena and bogota and go straight to Bucaramanga and eat some Hormigas culonas and have fun.

This restaurant is perfect for lunch and for snacks in the afternoon. The place is really nice with a good view and the menu offers variety with affordable prices.Sadly, the service is pretty average, when we arrived the staff didn't pay attention to us because they were talking between each other. So we had to almost shout so we could get the menu. They never smiled back to us and the took our order with a sour look in their eyes, we felt uncomfortable with that behaviour. We ordered a wrap and a "picada", both were delicious. The portions are big (especially the wrap), the picada was yummy as well with a nice sauce. The food was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. What I did love were the lemonades with different flavours perfect for a hot day in the city.

Took 2 guests with me on my very first dining experience at Tavolo. It was highly recommended by a friend, and the food earned every bit of her recommendation. The seafood is among the best I've tasted; i had the "Robalo Fusion" (snook fish with a slightly spicy tang which only added to the fish that was covered with shrimp). It was my first taste of snook (which abound in the waters off Florida) and it is NOT my last. The fish was prepared to perfection and I can only hope when I return to this restaurant, it will be prepare exactly as last evening. A true gourmet delight. Appetizer was thin slices of octopus, with a perfect sauce of a dash of curry and turmeric, and could have served as the entree. Another delight to taste. One of my guests enjoyed the "Mero Fusion" and the grouper (mero) also was done to perfection/ Combine the fish with delicious coconut rice (or garlic rice) and you have the combination that makes a perfect meal. The American red zinfandel went perfectly with both the appetizer and entree so I recommend it to any who wish to try these dishes. The quality of the food is well worth the medium to medium - price point. Service was prompt, courteous, efficient, and very friendly. I very much look forward to a return visit - the sooner, the better. I unreservedly recommend Tavolo whenever you visit Bucaramanga. Do not miss out on this great dining experience.Dear Lennie, thanks for your opinion and hope to se you again in Bucaramanga and in Tavolo Gourmet.
