We've spent about a month in Santa Rosalia this year (cruising the Sea of Cortez), and eaten at most of the restaurants here. El Muelle is our favorite. On a hot, hot summer day, they are air conditioned. They serve tasty, tangy lemonade, and Margheritas that'll pucker your lips. Their fish tacos are KILLER good, spiced just right, and topped with avocado, sour cream and lime to squeeze over everything. The wait staff are fun and friendly. Service is a bit slow, so I wouldn't sit down for a meal here if I were in a hurry. But if you're on baja-time, the food is worth the wait.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the "difference" will no longer be available at the "Estrella del Mar", located at km 107 Transpeninsular Highway Loreto/Mulege', B.C.S. Mexico. Early December 2013, we were served a document, demanding we vacate the premises immediately. We were also facing possible deportation. The new owner of the property decided they wanted us out, so they could take over the business. We agreed to vacate by the last day of December, 2013. On behalf of the management and staff, we would like to thank our patrons for their support. It was our pleasure to serve you. Bob n' Sue...Pepe' & Rosy...Natalie...Adriana...
This is the last best place between Baja Norte and La Paz, a water hole, easy parking, great local knowledge. Congenial staff, friendly and helpful. The food's great -- the roast beef on sour dough is comfort food par excellance. Everyone who's Anybody in Bahia Concepcion hangs out here, with a wealth of local fishing and local information. Have seen 4 managers of this place over the years, but only now is Eatrella del Mar classic baja.

This restaurant is listed on BajaNomad Forums and Baja.com Mulege, although they have it near Todos Santos which is not
We were told to order the Chili Rellenos, so we did! They were excellent! The chips and salsa were good too.
The beer was cold, the service was excellent, the food was great!
Cici is always smiling and happy, teasing and joking with the customers.
Monday night is movie night and they have lots of great American movies.
Some nights, on special occaisions, there is dancing.
Yes, there is outside Seating, and horseshoe pits.
This is one of those special places with great Baja attitude and flair.
Stop here, you won't be disappointed!!

This is the third time we have been here. Fantastic Chicken!! Great breakfast with pancakes to die for! We try to stop coming or going to San Ignacio.Everything is always good. One of the waiters provided us with his own special hot sauce! You will love it.

If you are going through Santa Rosalia, on route nr. 1, stop on this nice and clean restaurant for a quick bite! We had chicken quesadilla, vey good, then a meat dish that was also good, but the best part was the machaca de pescado. It's a dish made with grilled fish, all shredded and mixed in with bell pepper, onion and tomato. They serve it with Mexican rice and salad. Amazing, very well combined, tasty and fresh! The bathroom is amazingly clean, they have air condition, and free WI Fi!!! Nice view of the black beach, both from inside, or from the outside Terrace. Very cheap too....
Stop, it's on the main highway nr. 1, across from a Pemex station, and try this place!

We stopped at this restaurant for brunch on the way back from a fishing trip in Santa Rosalia. I saw on the menu an item called "Pan Frances", which turn out to a French toast. It was the best that I have ever had, very tasty, not too sweet and has a flavor that fit my taste bud very well. I certainly will be come back try other dishes. The ambience of the restaurant is very typical of the small town Mexico. Services were excellent

A complete surprise, excellent Chinese food in Santa Rosalia. Just north of the Hotel el Morro the restaurant is south of town. We were the only English speaking guests. The place was busy and our meal demonstrated why it is so popular. Great dinner!

Traveling to Cabo was great. We headed out to see Hotel California in Todos Santos. Along the way we seen Dana's a local hang out. What caught our attention was the Harley parked out front. Stopped in for the most awesome Mango margartia on Earth. mango are grown out back, which is a trip in it's self. Old painted bus, beach chairs and harleys decor along a pathway in back. Owner was so nice and told us all about his resturant that him and his wife own. Already had eating, But the burgers smelled yummy and are a big seller there. Fun atmosphere and if we didn't have plan we could of stayed all afternoon. It's worth the hour trip from Cabo....

This restaurant is one block from the famous Eiffel church displayed at the 1889 Paris World's Expedition for which it won first prize.
The restaurant has Seating for probably 40 or so under a solid patio roof. No English spoken, but its easy to figure it out.
We were there about breakfast time and the chef had already stared his carnitas for the day and put 14 chickens on the roaster.
Parking is usually available on the side street so you can eat, and walk to the church.

Tonka's Grill serves burgers ribs and steaks. It was a nice change of pace after eating seafood dish the last severel days. The place is new and is totally outdoors. They only serve beer and pour there spirits in sipping glasses only, no margaritas here. The burger i ate was cooked to my liking and was delicious. The staff only speaks spanish so if you only speak english be prepared.
