We stayed in San Marco the second week in September, and found it extremely quiet, which was nice, but difficult to find somewhere to eat! The number 1 restaurant we spent hours looking for and never found it, the number 2 restaurant (Su) was closed, so 'K' was third choice. Well we were not disappointed, the seafood was fresh and excellent, the wine slipped down nicely, the service was friendly and attentive, the view of the square from the Terrace was pretty at night. So take my advice don't bother searching for somewhere to eat in September just go to Restaurant K.

The view is fabulous and the restaurant looks nice.
Our starters, tuna fish, were tasty. For main course we had entrecote and lamb. The quality of the meet was fine - but the chef had no idea about how you season meet. The amount of herbs available in the area generally taken could have turned them into fantastic dishes - with rosemary, thyme and sage it would have been super easy to prepare the meet into a delicious serving.
The service was correct and somewhat friendly, but not personal in any way.

This place is great and my pizza was really nice. The seafood my mum had was so fresh and tasted amazing. Service was a little slow you had to flag down the waiting staff. They were clearly a popular restaurant but cramming everyone in to the extent they do here put us off coming again.

This is a very characteristic place on the harbour with beautiful seats in the gallery on the first floor. Making a reservation was not easy and not so friendly. But we were served nicely. Several neighbouring guests think they are sitting outside and therefore keep on smoking during their own and our diner. Hello. This is 2017! I thought we've had that. The food was average and the prices relatively high for this quality.

This place is old -style service in a good way. Not pompous though. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Full of local people and Italian tourists. Amazing value for money. Vitello - really good. Fresh anchovies to start served with focaccia (pizza style bread baked in a wood fired oven). Alongside main courses we chose tomato salad and broccoli - found out later they grow their own veg. We were both too full for dessert but they looked good. We went on our first night and will go again before the week is out.

Something for everyone! Seafood, pasta, burger, Fish, meat, salads, wine, beer, and even pear and pinapple juice, smotthies and ice cream! A week or two - every year for 10 years - we have eaten here. Not once been disappointed. Just unbelivable! On the beach! How they do it in that little kitchen always puzzels us. Peppe - the chef - and his assistant Alessandra - are true magicians. Add LA Tartarugas cooperation With their neighbour aloha Beach who has the Perfect pizza, foccacia and ciabatta - and you have the best, most unpretentious, and genuine restaurant/Beach Place in all of Italy. La tartaruga also do restaurant in the evening wich is ofcourse also awesome! A la prossimo anno!

Had a brilliant time here, both during the day and night! Dominica was a fabulous host, and will meet all needs / requests - if you need any type of celebration / special occasion or just for a few drinks / ice cream, this is the place to go! Very central, great location overlooking the beach! Could not be beaten. Music etc at night, good English, great fun!

We walked to this restaurant from our hotel along the beach. The views were beautiful as were the sunsets. The service and food were fabulous. Fresh fish, seafood and pastas were sublime. The local wines were good and reasonably priced. Great for lunch or dinner.
Portions were huge and could be shared. Parking right outside. Lovely Terrace for al fresco dining. Spaghetti vongole was divine! Can't wait to return next summer. Many thanks.
