Great Location

Really loved the location. The breakfasts were great as well. That said, (constructive criticism) it would have been nice to have a table and chairs somewhere in the room and to have an ICE MAKER somewhere on the property. To get ice, we had to wait until someone happened to be at the front desk to get it out of the kitchen, Hate to sound negative because if we ever went to Santa Fe again, we would stay at The Parador.

From our cozy little corner of town you can easily launch into all things outdoors, gastronomic, and cultural. The mountains are right out our back door! We cater to those who live by Anthony Bourdain’s maxim, “Be a traveler, not a tourist.” Our 23-room, 1960’s property is geared toward the traveler who wants an experience… kinda like an old school road trip, but with all of the modern touches you’re looking for. Our rooms are un-fussy, but spacious and clean. You’ll have some room to spread out and store your gear. The beds are comfortably luxurious. The views from the rooms are great and Santa Fe sunsets are some of the best there are. We’re in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the Cerrillos Rd. hotels and motels. We hope to see you soon!

Quiet and Comfortable

Reviewed By animasriver

The new in keepers have done a wonderful job of modernizing this Santa Fe classic. The room we stayed in was completely redone in Santa Fe style with rustic wood furniture and Satillo tile floors. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were dreamy. Some rooms are dog friendly which is a big plus for us. The end was very quiet and peaceful and close to downtown. The innkeepers are very pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would read the reviews carefully, I think the bad ones are from prior to the new ownership.

The WORST !!!

Reviewed By Vacation449000

Booked 3 nights. Manager wasn't friendly. Room was a tiny cubicle that was very cold even though it was 50 deg outside. Put laptop on tiny desk, moved it a bit so I could plug into the outlet and a big bottom piece of the desk fell off so it was slanted. Bathroom very cold, no outlets for applicances. Closet also very cold, no rack to put the suitcase and no light. Heater on the wall was so high I had to stand on a chair to get to the controls. It didn't do much good but I had a small heater in my car and brought that in. WORST..wifi didn't work or would go on and off. Went to the office and she came to the room but did nothing about the slanted desk, she was impatient and said she'd reboot the modem. I waited, the motel wifi didn't even show up on the list of networks so I went back to the office that was now closed..HA, they say 24 hour office ...NOT. She was annoyed but came back to the room. Then offered refund but I had to decide within half an hour and not come bothering her at 8:30-9. Wifi was miraculously on for awhile but went off and I missed her DEADLINE. Today wifi ws on this morning, mid afternoon to now at 5:30 I've been trying to connect. Went to the office which was locked and buzzed three times but got no response. Went to the mall to see if my laptop was the problem but it connected right up. Came back to the room, office is locked, i buzzed but no response, and after restarting twice it is on but could go off any minute. This is the worst place I've ever stayed in...cold drafts coming through the door, under the baseboards. A rude, nasty manager who didn't bother to ask me today if the wifi was working and since she isn't here I can't negotiate to get a partial refund and go somewhere else. I had asked if I could move to another room and she lied that she was booked full. I see three cars and haven't seen a living soul. Nasty woman, junky tiny room, and no wifi. Not worth even $10 a night. Avoid this place.
