If you're the kinda person who needs a decent cafe whenever you're in a city for a week or more, then Cafe 24 is a great place to go in Santa Cruz. The service is utterly indifferent but that kinda becomes part of its charm, if you let it... The coffee is fine - you can't expect much more than that here - and the decor and atmosphere are perfect. It isn't actually 24-hours but I don't think I ever found it closed when I wanted it.
I come here when ever I want a ceviche it is the best ceviche and one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Santa Cruz. Friendly staff and great food. Not as polished a location / setting as Hanzo and other but I still much prefer the quality of the food and value for money.
Do you want to get what you pay for? Great food, no, fabulous. A top Peruvian restaurant located in Santa Cruz De La Sierra. Very tasty, well varied menu and the portions will definitely not leave you hungry. A no brainer, and should definitely be visited when in the city.
Horno Caliente serves the best typical breads and other oven baked pastries, empanadas and other original dishes from Santa Cruz. The prices are ridiculously low and the service is excellent in a modest setting in downtown Santa Cruz. Highly recommended.

My wife and I love this delightful restaurant in the center of downtown Santa Cruz. Located on Calle Libertad near Calle Buenos Aires, this restaurant is a great lunch spot serving food priced per kilo. They serve a wonderful variety of salads, fruits, pastas, bean-dishes, and meat. We have not tried the pizza yet, which is only served in the evenings, but are excited to come back to try it. We won't personally speak to the authenticity of the food since we have never been to Brasil ourselves, but according to Brasilian friends and judging by the amount of Portuguese spoken by customers, it must be legitimate. The wait staff is friendly and accessible. The atmosphere and decorations are modest and Brasilian in theme (i.e. photos, maps, and flags of Brasil on the walls). The seating is split between tables indoors and outdoors. Though there is no AC, the place is cool thanks to a ton of ceiling fans and good circulation of the city's ever-constant-wind through the restaurant. They have Wifi, which works decently for those wishing to conduct a bit of business over lunch. The "Limonada" is delicious, perfect for the oppressive heat of this city, and a large only costs 5 Bs (comparable to street venders, who don't use filtered water). Prices are very reasonable, but generally higher than most Bolivian restaurants. We typically pay around $8-9/person (because we get a ton and get 2 large limonades!).Two tips you don't want to forget: (1) Look like a pro and don't pull at your wallet and the cash register in the front. They only give you the check at this front register...you pay in the back. (2) Enjoy the free coffee sitting on the table near the exit. We recommend mixing the sugar-free with the sugar-full, unless you really have a sweet tooth! The restaurant's local phone # is: 333-1237.

Goss never fails to disappoint, we always end up here after regular restaurant hours because it's the only place that's open 24 hrs, but last time was no exception to the rule, Goss never fails to disappoint, mediocre food, service, and taste, it's actually one of the few places where you're guaranteed to get chewy meat , Time for the management of Goss to a notch up, being open 24 hrs per day doesn't mean your quality has to be below level, so i suggest only go here if the rest is closedQuedamos muy agradecidos por su opinión! Es un placer saber que disfrutan de la calidad que ofrece nuestro establecimiento. Será un placer atenderlo nuevamente! Saludos
Best Contemporary food near Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz Department, Bolivia

This is one of the nicest restaurants we've found in Bolivia so far. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but worth splashing out on. We came here twice even though it was a fair distance from where we were staying! The paella is very tasty, and we also had desserts both times, all of which were amazing. Highly recommend the mousses and the lemon meringue pie. There's a decent wine selection too (not just from Bolivia) and they have a wine of the week - a different wine on offer each week. We enjoyed the Chilean Carmenere. Definitely worth a visit for something different to the usual Bolivian cuisine.
