Its a great Japanese steak house located near Kobe Japan. There are now about 25 chain outlets around Japan, I want to review the original restaurant in Sanda City
An incredible popular Japanese style steak restaurant located in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Now expanded accross Kansai with branch locations, and a couple of locations in Tokyo, the original is famous for its Japanese style steak with a view of an authentic Noh theater.
The restaurant is always busy and waits can occasionally be long. Visitors can view the owners Rolls Royce collection while waiting.
The food includes an appetizer of ham with the restaurant's special dressing. Its a tasty introduction to the main course.
The steak is excellent, served Japanese style with garlic and sauces. Our steak was cooked perfectly according to our instructions. Its not an American style steak house, so no baked potatoes and martinis. However, there is a great selection of sake and shochu.
The restaurant also serenades diners with a live performance on a grand piano, located on the dining floor.
Service is very attentive and professional. The employees of this restaurant clear take pride in the cuisine and establishment.
The original location is a little out of the way, near the Sanda Flower Town housing project. Its worth a visit to experience a unique atmosphere while eating a delicious steak.

es Koyama is one of those places that appeared on a Television show and now nobody can get enough of it. For some reason "roll cakes"--which, where are I come from, are crappy cakes you get at the grocery store--are a hot commodity and are what this place is known for. I have eaten their roll cakes, as well as a few other items, and, well, they're fine. But definitely NOT worth the ordeal you have to go through to get it.
I live nearby and have visited the place a few times, mostly against my better judgment. The service is extremely slow, most likely to encourage a longggggggg line to form down the street. The people you need to wait around with are generally nasty and rude. There is often a line of cars stretching a kilometer down the road, just waiting to get into the parking lot. People make sudden u-turns in front of buses to get to the end of the line, or park on the sidewalk by a nearby park to avoid the line.
Unless you enjoy this sort of experience for a barely-above-average supermarket cake, avoid at all costs.

It's a very good cake shop in a lovely English style building.
They have a great range of fresh cakes as well as cakes made to order and a selection of biscuits and gifts. They have a cafe on site and also sell soft cream ice creams.

I went the restaurant for the first time in December. There is the restaurant near the Sanda station. The move will take a few minutes only on foot by walk. In addition, we can visit the restaurant by car if the car park city parking area where is opposite the restaurant. The parking area is free within an hour. When I went there, the restaurant is filled. The restaurant doesn't have many seats. A few minute later, I could go into a restaurant. I ordered Ra-men, fried rice and fried chicken. It is the restaurant's set menu. There is nice taste for me. My favorite menu is fried chicken. We can choose the taste of Ra-men. I chose the taste was salt Ra-men. It was good taste for me. The price of set menu was 800 yen. I think the price is very cheap. Therefore, I think the restaurant is nice. The restaurant help some people who want to eat something within low budget.

In a house along Muko Gawa, the seasonal fare, great service, great atmosphere, and smoke free environment make this slightly out of the way restaurant worth finding.

Set in a lovely traditional Japanese house with a small garden, we were there for a set meal dinner that included most traditional Japanese dishes including soup, salad, fish, sliced beef, grilled eel, tempura and soba noodles.
All the dishes tasted delicious. The service was prompt and the dishes brought out across many courses. There were a selection of drinks including Kirin draft beer.
We were a group of 7. We could have added another but larger groups would struggle to seat everyone in the same area.
Locals recommended their soba noodles for lunch as a favorite.
Note they require cash payment rather than credit cards.
Prices were quite reasonable. I would go again and encourage others to try this restaurant if they are in the area.
