La Galerita es the first ecoturism resort developed at San Sebastian del Oeste. It is located on the outskirt of the town in an area called La Otra Banda, just a five-minute walk from the town square. La Galerita offers common areas and a breakfast room. From its terraces you will be enchanted by the breathtaking panoramic views of the town and the exuberant local vegetation of its natural ecology. Las galeritas are small chalets furnished in rustic mexican style, conditioned for two people, with bedroom (king Zize bed), bath, den, fireplace, frigobar, coffe and tea service,TV, DVD player, wireless internet, aromatherapy set, private patio. Good taste and a gourmet breakfast is included.
Drive to San Sebastián. This was a great experience and lots of fun. The driver and host-both Juan Carlos were a hoot. Extremely knowledgeable, with a flare for getting you involved. The drive was beautiful, the host for the Tequila tasting was very informative on blue and green agave. There is a difference…. You’ll have to go to find out.. I only recommend events with going to.

Located in San Sebastian del Oeste, denominated Magic Town of our country and located in the mountains of Sierra Madre Occidental only 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco (Mexico), Hacienda Matel is a place suspended in the past, full of History and tradition, where the memory becomes reality.
Hacienda Matel is now called Hotel Boutique Haucienda Caudillos. It's a lovely Hacienda style hotel set just below the charming town of San Sebastian del Oeste. The rooms have all the modern touches, but the common area decor reflects the history of Mexico. There's a lovely dining/bar area with views of the forest canopy. Our room was very beautifully decorated with a fireplace to ease the chill of evening and morning. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rain shower nice and warm. The town is very close by. Best reached by car we decided as the cobble stone road is steep and narrow. We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily return.

We had a great stay. The bed was very comfortable and room was beautifully furnished. Courtyard was nice to relax in during the evening. Very classic looking place. There was no fridge in our room but we didn't need it. The woman we interacted with did not speak English but we managed to communicate with our terrible Spanish and some gestures. Everyone was very friendly there. Coffee and some cookies were delivered to the small table and chairs right outside our room every Morning, which was a nice touch. Would stay again.

Los Arcos de Sol is a unique 200 years old Hacienda located in San Sebastián del Oeste Magic Town. The hotel has 10 rooms with TV and WiFi. We have the best mexican food in town that you can enjoy in our terrace! Visit this amazing town and enjoy this great property!
Our driver Manuel took us to visit the Colonial town of San Sebastián del Oeste which is at least 1 1/2 hours away from Puerto Vallarta. Los Arcos is in the town center. Our food was fresh and good. Loved the Coffee de Olla - coffee mixed with cinnamon and chocolate. The staff told us where to buy the roasted coffee beans on our way out of town. I think we were the only tourists visiting the small town.

My husband and I arrived on Saturday for a 1 night stay. As stated on your website, check-in is from 2.00pm. When we arrived at 2.00pm to check in we were met the receptionist who told us that we could not check in yet as the room was not ready. We waited an hour at the side of the restaurant, which was too much for us. After that we met to very irate and rude Manager, she advised us that the rooms were cleaned from the bottom up and the room that we had requested was last to be cleaned. If this is in fact the case, your website should not falsely state that check-in is from 2.00pm. The manager was not very accommodating and didn't seem too bothered about guest satisfaction. I have been in hotels like that before and if a guest arrive during check-in time and their room was not ready, they would prioritise the cleaning of that room so they could check-in on arrival with no waiting. The annoyed manager offered to put us in another room to which we replied No as this was not the room we requested. When we said No to the other room she offered she became even more irritated. From there forward her bad attitude never improved. She did not apologise for her behaviour or lack of customer service skills. It was also sad and unfortunate to see "The Manager" treating other American guests really well with no scolding, bad faces or indifference. (We are Mexicans and living near to San Sebastián by the way) We spoke to the receptionist (A very quiet boy) to find out if a late check-out was possible, which he refused, saying "That is decided by the manager but I don't think it's possible". Again, as stated on your website, late check-out in sunday is offered to all guests at no extra cost. We did not understand why the receptionist advised the opposite but we accepted it without problem or complaint. He also offered no apology for having us wait 2 hours for our room. The next day at the time of check-out we went to pay for everything we had consumed during our stay. We met the Manager again who didn't apologise for her behaviour or ask us how our stay was. During check out she told us absolutely nothing, she just looked at us and ignored us. We could tell she was really upset and had turned the situation somewhat personal, but we were never rude to her in any way. In fact, her responses left us in shock and we did not know how to react. We have never experienced such unacceptable behaviour from a customer service representative before. The treatment we received compared to other guests was really upsetting. Honestly it is a shame because I do not think that such a person should be in charge of such a beautiful place. I have had extraordinary experiences in much smaller cabins in San Sebastian and it is a pity that the most beautiful hotel in town that is "Villa Nogal" is not compatible with it's luxury, beauty, amenities etc that were described. In short, we do not even want to return to your restaurant, because a place where a classist person is, is not worth visiting.

do it again. I suppose the hotel is meant for persons who are looking to ascend La Bufa (idiotic ATV enthusiasts) or bone a local prostitute...not for people looking for peace and quiet (which you will not get at Pozo). The hotel is as bare bones as possible so that the owner can make a buck. There is obviously no money being put into the hotel for needed improvements. There is a nice courtyard within the hotel, but the restaurant is no longer operational. If you stay a night or two (I begged off the second), you'll wake up with mosquito bites or perhaps bites from things larger than that.
