the restaurant has done a make over and is improving the food and service. We will wait a month or 2 and give it another try. The pasta was very good, the rest of the food was just average

Stopped in because I am inevitably hungry during siesta when everything closes down. I ordered a salad since fresh vegetables seem hard to come by in Argentina. It was excellent. And they offer small wine bottles, which was a plus. Great outdoor sidewalk Seating overlooking the artisan center.

Giving credit where credit is due...we went to this restaurant after Reading other Trip Advisor posts. It happened to be my husband's birthday and we wanted something out of the ordinary. What we found was this wonderful gem, somewhat off the beaten path and worth the ride...the menu is limited to what the owner/cook has on hand each day, but there are a couple of items that are "signature" plates, such as the "carne a la masa," which is as bountiful as it is exquisite. The food is fresh, cooked to perfection. The wine list is not extensive but offers some very good wines, especially from excellent local bodegas. The owners are warm, welcoming and enjoy seeing their customers enjoy themselves. The ambience is low key but very charming. We had mentioned our visit to friends who went there on a whim and raved about it endlessly. Definitely will return.

very very ncie and good food. Situated on the main highway it is a great place to sit on a warm night outside and enjoy the ambiance. The chairs are a little tricky but don't let that hold you off from sitting there.
I had the Risoto....excellent. All the other stuff in our group was very very nice as well. Hard to find in San Rafael but here you go.

A really good restaurant. A bit pricey, and the service was odd, but hopefully they now accept credit cards (although the excange rates favor cash, and Kummel did not accet dollars in 2014). Will return.

We enjoyed a perfect evening at Al Antojo del Cocinero. We arrived early and liked being able to choose our table before the later rush. Each dish was cooked perfectly, tasted delicious and was well accompanied by a 'River' wine (we had recently visited the 'River Winery' so we knew our rosè would be delicious). Everything on the menu sounded delicious - I chose prawns, then the medium-rare ojo de bife followed by a Volcan de Dulce de Leche. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment!

This is a good place to get take away pizza.
One can stay and have it in their premises but its not go much there apart from some tables and chairs!
Very nice people that work there but their English is not great, still one can always communicate the basics when ordering a pizza!
There are several selection and they all all very well priced as are most food restaurants in Argentina.
The do open late in Argentina tradition so don't expect to be able to order anything until around 8pm and don't expect to get your food before 9:30pm.
