Reviewed By gemidoWe stayed two nights. Hard to fault. Well heated and comfortable. My friend thought his single bed mattress was not so great but the double was good. Easy walk to restaurants and main square. The staff were very helpful. Most things worked. Recommend

Reviewed By PDM77059We spent one night in room 211. This room had 1 queen bed and 2 sofas which could be used as optional beds, hard wood floors, a desk and chair, and TV. Free wifi was available here also but reception was spotty and we had to go to the lobby to get a decent signal. The bathroom had shampoo but no conditioner. There is a bathtub/shower configuration with the shower head being rather old. It is good that they have a hand hold on the wall in the tub. The trickiest part of the room was operating the safe. It is quite complicated but does work. Breakfast was just average and relatively sparse.

Not my type
Reviewed By 359valenrWe went to San Martin during the last week of February/the first week of March. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and it’s just what one can see from the outside, nothing more. The rooms are cozy but old, they resemble old rooms from inns. The tv was rather small and obsolete and the bed wasn’t comfortable at all. Personally I didn’t like them, but it’s what this hotel aims for, an experience close to last century inns. Besides that, the breakfast was quite good, despite the juice was from the store and not natural. The staff were also really charismatic and attentive, they are a big family who owns and runs the place. I wouldn’t come back, but just because it’s not the kind of accommodation I look for when I go on vacation

Very nice hotel
Reviewed By Ken KOnly spent one day here but had excellent experience. Hotel room was large and comfortable and clean with beautiful lenga wood interior and ceiling. Staff was extremely helpful and had a breakfast prepared for me at 530 am so I could catch the bus to Pucon.

We stayed at several places in the Patagonian lake area on our trip, and this was the only hotel that disappointed. We had a room on the lower level. The lower level had a musty aspect to it, and the room was way overdue for a refresh. The shower was stained and not very appealing. Breakfast lacked variety, and what we did eat was not very good. On the upside, the hotel is just a short walk to town, where there are many nice shops and restaurants.

Well located within walking distance to downtown, and some trails that give a magnificent point of view of the lake and the city. Breakfast is a drowback in terms of variety, but great in quality of buns and bread. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The heated pool a great plus!

Reviewed By mbaelaporteWe arrived in town late ( in high season ) and this was first place we inquired about. The first quote was way more than we care or are accustomed to paying. We spoke of other options and my wife asked if they would lower price and they did by app. one third and considering the popularity of town and high season we chose to park our family of four ( and big backpacks ) and spend 2 or 3 nights here. Our room was fine and the rest of the accommodation was more like staying w / your favorite sister. Marta conditioned my mate ( vessel, cup ) , provided excellent breakfast and their beautiful living areas /dining room were there for us to enjoy. We were off running around but she also would provide other meals if visitors cared to partake..New Years Day night there was a long table of guests of lodge and family having a grand time. A well furnished bar is also on premises. I wish all lodgings could be so pleasing ! ( free large monitor computer / internet also )

Reviewed By Gibbo7967We stayed here for three nights and part of me doesn’t want to write a review and to keep this place a secret to us in case we can’t book it again. But that would be unfair on Fernando, the manager, who has put his heart and sole into this very special place and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was awesome. A visit here should be on everyone’s bucket list. The location is stunning with only four bedrooms each of which are beautifully decorated in a quirky style and a private terrace and a stunning view. The quirky theme runs throughout the hotel. The dinning room is a mind blowing circular room at the top of a spiral staircase with a wrap around balcony and 270 degrees of floor to ceiling windows. Breakfast was cooked and served in this room using the finest ingredients. I can still taste the orange juice and eggs. There is a large open fire which Fernando lit for us each night and we played cards and drank fine Argentinian wine. The tea rooms in the garden are equally quirky. We opted for cheesecake and their house tea both of which were divine. Fernando you were brilliant - thank you for your hospitality and we hope to see you soon.
