Tatitas Restaurant was opened in 2002. It is a family-run business, popular both with locals and tourists alike. The restaurant is located right in the square of San Lawrenz, one of the most charming squares in Gozo, which square has been recently embellished by E.U. funds. Through the years, the restaurant has gained a very good reputation and is listed in many travel guide books such as Lonely Planet, Evasion etc.
You can drive past Tatitas without noticing it during the day if you are heading to the Gozo coast or admiring the parish church which dominates the square in San Lawrenz.
At night the floodlit square changes it quiet character as children play on the church parapet and scores of outdoor diners fill the cluster of white tables to the right of the church Whether by design or by accident, these diners had struck it lucky, and so had we...
The food in this restaurant is exceptionally good... the menu is comprehensive, the choices are wide ranging and the service was faultless. There were ten of us with ages ranging from one to the seventies but catering for families comes naturally in Gozo. This restaurant was no different and the church parapet was a great success as my boy found new friends.
The dessert menu was a cut above the rest and the wine list very comprehensive and, happily, included our favourite Salice Salentino.
So don't drive through San Lawrenz without stopping in the delightful church square, especially at night. Park your car and let this gem of a restaurant surprise you.

Visited last Saturday with my family. We enjoyed our evening in a warm atmosphere with, as usual, outstanding cuisine. Patrick's is one of our favorite restaurants to visit, always offering a nice ambiance, great service and a top class wine range. If you're planning on going on a Saturday evening, I suggest booking in advance to have indoor Seating. We booked late and were seated in the outdoor garden area which had a canopy and was heated. This area is a designated smoking area for diners, however our dinner was still enjoyable and we almost preferred the quiet and private Seating. Our choice of dishes for starters were Risotto, Fried Brie pillow, Salt and Pepper Squid and Chicken liver parfait. For main courses we chose Duck Breast which was fantastic, tasty and very tender, Fillet of beef and Tomahawk for two. For dessert we had the lemon tart, creme brule, apple tart and the special of the day, the bread and butter pudding. Well done Patrick as always! To enjoy a real steakhouse, don't miss out on this restaurant. They know how to get top quality meat cuts and know the secrets of cooking them to perfection!

Situated right on the water's edge and next to the statue of St. Andrew in the fishermen's area of the bay, The Boat House Restaurant is ably run by Joseph Attard and his wife Rose. It has established itself as a must visit restaurant when visiting Gozo by Maltese and foreigners alike. The location enjoys the warm Sunshine on winter afternoons and romantic sunsets. The choice of starters and main courses is endless. On top of that, there are the 'Specialities of the Day'. The fish display is a clear statement about the freshness of the daily catch. All items on the menu are prepared with ingredients of the highest quality. The selection of in-house desserts is tempting. The Wine List includes a large variety of local and foreign wines to please all wine lovers. Service is professional, fast and efficient but not rushed. Open for late lunches. The opening hours listed on this page are valid from 1st April up to 31st October. More detailed opening hours on website or facebook page.

Went here on a couple of hot afternoons and was impressed by the range of ice-creams and sorbets. A must to try, even if you're only here for a short while. On the main town square not far from the bus stop - go on!

Everything here is homemade, from starters to desserts. We are one of the only restaurants making its own bread. When we say Balkan, we mean Greek, Bulgarian, and Turkish. Many people don't know this, but the cuisines of these 3 countries are basically the same, because of more than 2 centuries of wars between each other. Every day we make a couple of homemade specials like mussaka, beef hunting style, wine leaves, sour cabbage, stuffed peppers, etc., all with very reasonable prices. We also offer a big variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Come give it a try. Do not hesitate, you won't regret it...Enjoy:)
Great vegan and vegetarian options here. Food is beautifully presented and delicious. My family had meat too which was also very good. Owner is great, and definitely added to our dining experience! home made baklava for dessert is recommended and a bottle of the bulgarian...MoreThank you hope to see u soon again
