Thought we would give this restaurant a try as it's rated number one in the area. We we're disappointed.
We had to ask for the wine list three times before we got it. A starter of house salad was fresh, but expensive for what we got..mainly lettuce leaves. We then had the paella, which was very good except for the fact it was too salty.
The waiters never poured our bottle of wine, and didn't even offer us a desert menu, so I guess they wanted us to leave, which we did. Would I go again?...probably not.

This is now called the pink flamingo.
The location is lovely as you are sat high up above the hustle and bustle of the strip below.
The service was good as was the good.
We both had the set menu which was good value for money.
I wouldn't say I was blown away by my visit but equally I am struggling to find any fault.
Worth a visit rather than being In The hustle and bustle of it all.

An excellent restaurant with an international menu. Speciality is tender steak served on oak platter with mashed potatoes, tomate provencal and asparragus. Beautyful interior and also a lot of seats outside. Established 2006. Warm welcome!
I'll start with the positive, the staff, an English lady and a young man were very nice. The place was clean, not brilliant, but no massive complaints. They did make an effort to pull something together for my vegan sister, but baring in mind we choose it from Trip Advisor because they are recommended for vegan food, there was nothing particularly great on offer, pasta and some limited vegetables, which was a take-it or leave it option. As basic as it was, she had the best meal, by a mile. My husband had swordfish, I doubt it was even 1cm thick, a really skinny offering, the potatoes he got with it were like flat, frozen, tasteless chips. Salad was poor. His however was better than the slop two of us got. Described as something like big prawns in a creamy chilli sauce, this was, without doubt, the worst meal I've had in living memory, my sister who ordered the same agreed. It was like pink condensed milk soup, with spaghetti and prawns floating in it, horrible doesn't begin to describe how awful it was. How on Earth this place is number 2 in the area is beyond me. Possibly they have a different chef in the summer months, it must be something like that. Steer clear.

Our family run bar and restaurant opened in 2009 and since then, we have worked hard to make it one of the most popular bar restaurants in the Roda & Los Alcazares area. We are proud of our reputation for good food, value for money and friendly service in a warm inviting atmosphere. We offer a wide range of premium cuts of aged beef Sirloin, Rib-Eye, Fillet and Chateau briand (dry aged up to 21 days) fired up over hot coals, delivering perfectly cooked meat, with that moorish crispy seared finish. Alongside the steaks, guests can order a selection of poultry and locally sourced fresh fish. Our aim is to produce quality food at an affordable price, focusing on fresh local produce with every meal being cooked to order.
There was a big party of us for a surprise birthday. The service was spot on and the food cooked to perfection! The menu is very wide ranging and we had people with special dietry requirements which were attended to without issue. The chef also baked the birthday boy a homemade cake which was absolutely incredible. Thank you to all of Campbells for your hospitality and fantasticness!

Amazing food, amazing price, amazing value for money. Staff excellent and still a bottle of complimentary wine as part of the menu del dia.
Delightfully clean & even cloth napkins.
Never miss the chance to eat there when visiting the airport.
3 weeks to next treat.

English Fish & Chips Restuarant,(more than just a chippy) Freshly cooked Cod or Haddock with NO skin or bones. Half Chickens, Holland Pies, Cheeseburgers, Kebabs, Battered Haggis, plus much more. Also offer daytime snacks, breakfasts, jacket potatoes etc. Licensed bar and all the favorite soft drinks. All our products are Fresh cooked to order. Sky Tv and Wifi.
Although we normally eat in the Spanish restaurants sometimes you just want fish and chips. These are some of the best fish and chips I have had. Freshly coked to order and you can choose your portion size too. Lovely service and reasonable ice cold drinks made a lovely lunch. Would highly recommend it.

A family owned restaurant since 2012 offering daily fresh and homemade food with a friendly, welcoming service and inviting atmosphere.
While on a family holiday and staying at a near-by hotel, we decided to try put restaurant Heming-way. The menu choice was excellent, and the food was superb. Generous portion sizes and the flavour was second to none. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

My very first review for Trip Advisor was relating to this excellent restaurant which we first visited some 12 years ago.
The original indoor dining area was typically Spanish setting with oil paintings around the walls and a traditional feel about the place. This of course still remains presumably for the cooler months and please make no mistake it is a wonderful setting in which to dine.
However, Immediately to this area is a new external dining area which is ultra modern and extremely tasteful with a central water feature to further relax their guests. Truly this is a wonderful contrast to the indoor facility and a imaginative idea for the summer months.
The food remains at the usual high standard and the menu is in both Spanish and English.
There were six of us in our party that evening and all were able to find a suitable mouth- watering dish to our individual taste. Our ages ranges between the more mature down to teenage diners.
Our main courses varied between leg of lamb, pork de Paris, large sirloin steak, pizzas and sea bass fish and the obligatory tomato bread to 'start'.
We all really enjoyed the evening and complimented the staff on their attentive attitude to us.
As I stated earlier we have visited this venue on several occasions in the past and never been disappointed. You may be wondering about cost but I can assure you it is no more expensive than some of the venues along the Promenade in Santiago and certainly much better value for money.
So, will you give this place a try, you most certainly will not be disappointed!!
