Casa Silva's winery Boutique Hotel is one of the most refined and elegant destinations of Colchagua Valley. The charming family house beside the old winery at Angostura Estate, where four generations of the Silva family lived, is now the residence of their boutique hotel. The colonial-style home has been delicately decorated by Francisco Silva and is the ideal place to connect with the culture of wine, Chilean traditions and all the peacefulness of the Valley's countryside. Its seven comfortable rooms are perfect for relaxing and enjoying a romantic atmosphere.
Casa Silva delivered all we'd hoped for in charm, grace and service. It's a beautiful old home--well maintained--with a very helpful staff. The nearby winery is beautiful--and the food there and on the hotel property, excellent! The hotel is well-situated for visiting vinyards, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I wanted to go to a vineyard near San Fernando so we reserved a night at Santa Teresita. We were very delighted with the surroundings and calm of the place. The swimming pool was pristine and they even had a place to sit outside and listen to music, light an open fire pit or barbecue. The décor in the rooms was nice and limited with an old table with water. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. In the morning, the breakfast was mostly locally made. The eggs (from happy chickens) were amazing. I don’t like a lot of sweet things but the apple turnover strudel whatever was like a stick of butter with flour and the right amount of green apple --- I had to have two servings. They also had a Nespresso machine that I used several times during breakfast. It was a wonderful experience the price was more than right for the service we received. The people were kind and courteous. When we go back, we will stay here and you should too.

Into Hacienda Los Lingues ® is like stepping back in time. This is not just a typical Chilean country house, but a living example of what was the testimony colonial times. Everything remains as it was then: the buildings are made of mud and straw; the walls are painted red and each colonial remodeling makes historians to preserve the original architecture. Trees adorn the courtyards and parks. Between boldos, quillayes, the acacia, eucalyptus, oaks grow lingues ® and birds typical of the area, such as ducks, quail, pigeons, foxes, blades, etc.. The origins of the Hacienda back in the late sixteenth century. At that time he moved to the Valley of Santiago, Don Melchor Jufre Eagle, Extremadura gentleman, son of a Knight of the Military Order of Santiago, who served as mayor of the capital in 1599. As writer and chronicler of success, won prestige in Santiago society and was graced by the King of Spain to stay in Angostura, located in the Central Valley.
I attended a wedding there and stayed in the hotel. Service is very kind, helpfull. Rooms were very clean, but hot water was kind of difficult to regulate, wifi never worked and since there are many soaces with no phone signal, made it quite hard to communicate with others. Room really looked comfortable, but there were no working electrical sockets working to charge my phone, only the one in the bathroom worked. Seems when the old meets the new some things clash. Breakfast is not really served, there is coffee, tea and fruits, but that is it. For a wedding the place is a dream! Pool was very nice.

Nice staff and great size of rooms (larger than average hotels). They brought breakfast to our room as we needed to leave the hotel at 7am to start our tour to Glaciares Colchagua. It was a very nice breakfast too. The bathroom was quite spacious too. The outsize noise can be heard from inside, so it is recommendable to request for a room that is not facing the main street.

I stayed two nights (Sept 23 and 24): the location is amazing: after a few km on a dirt road, you enter the property and go down to the river with the 'cabanas' hidden in the forest. Plenty of activities on site. This is really the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. Dinner was really great, as well as the breakfast! I went walking on the road that goes to the 'termas', and the scenery is just amazing. I saw some condors, plenty of birds, wild horses, etc. At night I would make a small fire and read a book looking at the river. Jose was really helpful when I was organizing my trip.

My wife and I were going to the south. In the high way near by San Fernando, our car got broken so we had to spend the night in San Fernando. Jean Paul, the owner of the hotel, treat us as family. He received us with a big smile in his face even though it was late. The next day we enjoy a nice breakfast and then he helped us fixing the car. A bad moment turned out in a very nice experience!

It looks like a new hotel, and it is all. There is no elevator, the breakfast buffet is poor, the cable tv has few channels, the wifi signal was terrible, and the hotel, it self, don´t have nothing to offer. But a room for couple and a kid is about US$ 150. Too much expensive for nothing. They don´t have maps or tourist informations about the region.

We arrived just after 2pm after a 12000 km journey from England and were looking forward to relaxing by the pool. However the gate was locked and no one was around. We tried to ring the two telephone numbers but got no reply. We asked a neighbour who thought they must be away. We drove around for a while but nobody turned up and still no answer to the phone. By 5pm we were exhausted and found alternative accommodation in San Fernando. We had been told a few days before that our booking was confirmed and we would be charged a prepayment of the total price 5 days before we arrived. We have not had any explanation or apology, but thankfully have not been charged. Do not risk staying here and being let down.
