THE place to stay in San Antero
Reviewed By Carla_BrusselsInitially, I was going to stay 2 days in this hostel, but at the end I spend 6 days in this beautiful place. I came from Cartagena and needed some escaping from the busy town. I stayed in Dora Hostel, the other hostel of MonoCuco, the owner. He suggested me to go to San Antero, and I didn't regret it for 1 second. MonoCuco, the owner, and Yuli make you feel at home on holidays. The atmosphere is great, the music is fantastic and the environment too. The hostel : Close to the beach (15min walking). The hostel offers a kitchen to cook, but they make also great breakfast. The rooms are clean and nice, and the hostel has hammocks, tv, sofa, ... to make you feel at home and relax. They offer a lot of tours, to the Mangroves, the Volcano, to the village, to Lorica,... I also went diving, which was splendid (the best diving in the Colombian Caraibes according to me ; and, I'm a dive instructor :)). They also offer bikes, which are great to hang out in the surroundings, or go quicker to the beach. San Antero : smaller and less touristic than the surrounding Covenas and Tolu. Also, there is more nature. And that's what I like. I definitely recommed this place !

Reviewed By Rafa0216idea para paseos en grupo cuentan con cocina para cada cabaña pero si quieres descansar de ella te pueden conseguir a alguien para que te cocine y organice la cabaña a un precio muy asequible o contratar las comidas en el restaurante de el lugar.

Resort just in front of the Caribbean Sea, with luxurious and comfortable cabins, a beautiful swimming pool, a large gazebo, and an incomparable chill out zone with bali beds. The cabins are fully equipped for your total comfort: rooms with private bathroom, AC, a fully equipped American style kitchen, living room, TV, and a sitting area where we have a jacuzzi and a multipurpose table. Among the services we offer our guests we include a daily maid service, linen change every two days, supply of beach and room towels, and restaurant service during high season. In addition, and as an optional service, guests who would like to devote all their time to enjoy this paradise can hire domestic service. La Española is a private resort, with main gate, maintenance personnel on site, drinking water, power plant, and parking area. Our resort is located in the second inlet of the Morrosquillo Gulf, at just 10 kilometers/6.25 miles from San Antero (Cordoba) and at 5 minutes from Covenas (Sucre).

Reviewed By Andres CThe service was very good, the people in charge were nice, gentle and ready to please in all matters regarding service. The cabana was very nice, spacious, two bedroom small kitchen with everything you need fo cooking and a nice living room and a terrace with a jacuzzi ( unfortunately we couldn´t use the jacuzzi because of the water on those days) It is a beachfront property with a small and quiet beach on the caribbean, perfecto for relaxing or playing with the kids. the pool was also very good, clean and perfecto for family with children. I liked everything,but I would suggest internet connection wifi in the rooms and a tv set on each bedroom or one in the livingroom and in one bedroom. I recommend la arepa de queso y arepa de huevo for breakfast in the restaurant or the ones that Rosa( little girl that offers you these typical food from the region). looking forward to comeback for another relaxing time in the beach.
