This place is worth trying if you are traveling to Danmoen Saduak or Amphawa Floating Market. There's 2 restaurants of this name, this is the subsidiary. The Google map of this restaurant is accurate, and tripadvisor one is totally off. Price wise, I personally thinks it's just too expensive by Thailand standard. It's about the same price as Malaysia JB prices.

My first impression was that there was not enough variety in the menu, compared to the other seafood restaurants in the vicinity, but I quickly found out why. The keep to what they do best, like crabs, fish, and the razor clams. At first I also thought that the place was quite pricey, but when looking at the portion and the size of the fish and crab, I have to say that prices are comparable to the others. If you prefer more variety, go to the other Daeng closer to the city center. I highly recommend also the platoo fish in sweet sauce, which is the specialty in this region. The fish is good, fresh and juicy. We were there for lunch, but in the end, we also ordered takeaway for our dinner, which was crab fried rice, squid in salty egg, water crest, and also the platoo fish in sweet sauce. I also highly recommend the steamed crabs. Not as crowded as the other Daeng, this one is spacious enough, is a nice stopover from Bangkok to Hua Hin, and they sell a lot of thai desserts too at the front door. There is the outdoor and air-con areas, but most people stay in the air-con. Nice to have ice cold beer to go with the seafood too, at baht 90 for a big bottle of Chang and baht 100 for a bottle of Heineken. The restaurant is a few hundred meters from the main road. There is ample parking. You should make a turn from the main road right after the Amphawa turn.

Koo Moo is our favourite restaurant by Mae Klong River that we always drop by on the way to Huahin. Though there’s no signboard to the restaurant, the place is always packed all day by the locals during the weekend. Our favourite dishes are Platoo Satia (local river mackerel cooked in a special method only available in Mae Klong area) and curry crab. People love Koo Moo for its no frills, fresh and tasty seafood. Though the restaurant is by the river, the ambient is pretty much low key.
We always concern about food safety and want our guest to have good health. We always believe in the say “You are what you eat”. So, we encourage our guests to consume good and healthy food by using more that 80% of organic vegetables in our kitchens whic
You don't need to stay in the resort 'baantip suantong' to eat here.Beautiful view onto the river.Good Thai food, slightly expensive.

You can find dishes of fresh and unique kinds of seafood as razor clams and short mackerels at this restaurant.I recommend Tom Yam Kung, fried fish topped with hot-sweet-sour sauce, stir-fried water spinach, steamed squid in spicy-sour salad and, the must-eat item, Plaa Too Saa Tia (cooked short mackerel with black sauce).
We serve from Pad Kaprao (Thai common dish) to Seafood dishes with fresh top class fish. Price range: 30 to 300 Baht per dish From Bangkok, you can find us by: Take Any public van or bus to Ampawa market station. Then walk straight through Thanachart Bank
We're sat in this restaurant now. You can find it by walking down the 2nd road off the night market when walking from the bridge over to the floating market. Air con was nice! Service slow and not on the ball (lots of staff on phones) We ordered grilled pork, fried pork, rice, onion rings and pad Thai. All the food was nice and cheap. If you don't mind a bit of slow service and having to remind them what you've ordered, it's fine! Good for those with kids who prefer to sit down in air con rather than perched by river side. Although have to say that lots of the street food looked good.

Seemingly one of the few restaurants near the floating market that is open on a weekday . Live music , terrace on water's edge , mainly fish , good service . Nothing to write home about but it seems that this is the first time the place has been reviewed on TA . Probably a better option that having dinner in a hotel and if you are staying near the floating market there just aren't many dining options other than during the weekend .Mackerel cooked with herbs , large boiled sea bass , 2 soft drinks : 600 baht . One oddity : I asked for a knife , there aren't any ... mackerel with spoon and fork !

The happy-looking chicken icon on the seafood restaurant banner might have easily misled some passers-by to think it as a outlet specialising chicken meat items. Nonetheless, grilled chicken did figure among the favourite menu items with seafood dishes. Conveniently located near to the Amphawa floating market, the place was a natural magnet for both tourists and locals looking for good food at affordable prices. As expected, the restaurant was fully packed the evening we had dinner there. It was a long depth room, cramming in tables back-to-back with noisy but happy customers tucking in their favourite food. The wash-rooms and basins were strategically located for the convenience of patrons and the environment was airy and well-ventilated. Furnishing and furniture were basic and functional; but service was pleasing. We thoroughly enjoyed the grilled riverine prawns, deep-fried sea-bass with sweet Thai dip/sauce, grilled salted chicken, Thai papaya salad, fresh oysters cooked with garlic in hot-pot, fried spicy mixed vegetables, Tom-Yam Kung soup, fried rice Thai-style, jugs of ice-cold beer. Some dinner outing to remember for a long time to come.
