We came late afternoon at end of season. I think we were the only people there. Service was very very friendly and polite from a young woman (speaks great English and told us about wedding drive-by processions) and then from a man who brought us the delicious goodies. Go inside and see the wonderful baklavas and other honey dripping cakes, chocolates etc etc. The ice cream was amongst the best we've ever had (whether in Italy, USA or wherever). Biggest problem was how much of this lovely food you could reasonably eat in one go. Saw turtles in the bay from our table. Why doesn't this wonderful bakery have a London branch?!

We had dinner here and enjoyed the amazing view. We ordered tzatziki and saganaki as starters, both nice. The lamb chops were not as tender as we had hoped. The beef casserole was tasty, but also varying in tenderness from chewy to tender. Service was friendly and a nice touch was the watermelon that came with the bill.

Since 1989, the mother of the family, Mama Toula, is cooking every day many different traditional recipes to match any taste.The restaurant is on the sea front and all the guests are welcome to enjoy the greek hospitality and have an enjoyable meal any time of the day, lunch or dinner.

Visited here a few times for lunch overlooking the port. This is a nice very reasonably priced restaurant which serves tasty traditional Greek dishes as well as alternatives. We loved the Souvlaki, Stifado and amazing Greek salad. What a little gem! of a place.

My husband and I spent a couple of hours on the last day of our holiday, relaxing at this lovely little restaurant. Good food, and beautiful views. Had a lovely chat with a waitress who was studying medicine. It's away from the main centre which made it more appealing. We visited two weeks ago and was able to just walk to a table. High season is very busy so advisable to book. I would certainly recommend :)

Having driven all morning around the island, we found this charming place and thought we stop off for a light lunch and we were glad we did. The views were breathtaking, staff wonderful and charming. We had a Greek salad and the pumpkin pie, the salad was lovely and fresh as always, the pumpkin pie was so delicious, this was recommended by the waitress and I am so glad I went by her choice. It was grated pumpkin with flaky pastry. A dish I would also recommend. You can sit at your table with leisure and there is no rush to clear the table to give you the hint to go, we used this to our advantage and sat and watched the clear blue sea. There are a few steps down to a scheduled part of the beach.

I visited contessina restaurant on 8 August .First of all I was impressed by the location and the decoration of the restaurant. Tasia,Spyros and all the stuff were very friendly and they served me immediately delicious traditional dishes .the menu has a variety of foods for all tastes and although the date the service was on time and the food delicious .I will highly recommend to visit this place because it will leave you the best impressions !!

Our traditional grill house "mangiare" is located downtown in Sami. We have tables near to the sea and offer pita gyros, pork and chicken steaks, meal on charcoal, sandwiches, hot dog, coffee, english breakfast, ice creams, milkshakes, e.t.c.

I visited here with my two boys for a bit of lunch. We all picked pork giros and they were superb. They were packed with meat and vegetables. The service was good and I would recommend this restaurant no issues.Thank you very much! Mangiare team!

We loved this place, especially the lady running it. She spoke fabulous English and was very helpful teaching us a few Greek phrases. The food is lovely, we stopped for a snack for lunch a couple of times. Very well cooked and great value for money.
