One of the best hostels I stayed in South America. What can be better than start your day with pancakes and home made peanut butter!!! Really chilled place, where you can relax in a hammock or enjoy delicious coffee on the terrace with views over the town. The owner is very helpful and friendly.

Place worth staying. It has a beautiful inner garden, good rooms with shared or private toilets, good breakfast and reception is open 24/7. The best thing is the good will of the staff (owners) of the place. Always happy to give a helping hand and info.

Enchanting boutique hotel in the form of a colonial town from western Bolivia, hence the name. It has it's own central square with a chapel, lookouts and ruins. Surrounded with rural rooms and little houses, fully equipped for the enjoyment of our guests. A pool, a cemetery, excellent and personal service, fresh air, beautiful sights and a bunch of pets, from royal doves to dogs to cats to peacocks, complete the place. If you're looking for a spot to feel calm and peace, to relax, to snap things back together or to share with your loved ones, this is it. A place where you can feel tranquility and present again. A place to breathe, connect and disconnect, to walk, to watch. It truly feels as if you're stuck in time in a small village from a couple of centuries ago, when things were simpler.
No wonder this hotel has been entitled with travellers choice, since it is simply a pearl, and even though the trip from Santa Cruz to the hotel was quite rough and lengthy it was worth it. I dont think there is any need for me to describe the "village concept" they have built here, since I think this is richly described by others. My main comment is just "go" if you seem to be in Bolivia Santa Cruz region. Staff is super nice and helpful and the area is indescribable, the rooms are super nice and big, and the food is good. There's not really anything to say "no" to. The internet seemed to be somewhat overloaded and not working properly, but when you are at this place, you simply dont seem to care, since the rest of the civilization just doesn't matter.

A cosy and romantic hotel in beautiful Samaipata.
good: great location, nice rooms with high ceilings, good beds, nice personnel, great breakfast (no espresso, but real good coffee!), breakfast changes every day, fresh fruits, fresh juices, eggs, etc. bad: internet does only work at the reception

Stay here! Casa Lynda is well-run, good value, nicely finished, clean and well-located. I read a lot of reviews describing it as homely, which can sometime be positive and other times negative, however I found that there was a perfect mix of privacy, friendliness and helpfulness. Everything works and shuts properly. The hot shower is genuinely hot. Breakfast whilst extra is good value and tasty. Tanya went out of her way to ensure my stay went well, including organising onwards travel and quickly sorting any problems or issues. Very nice gardens to hang out and hammock in if you like.
