Dropped my kids off at a gymnastics camp nearby and evening to myself. B&B folks suggested here for Quebecoise cuisine. Wonderful all around. Had the a la table selecting scallops ceviche w strawberries - nice, duck and sausage confit on waitress' recommendation = fantastic and then the 2 flavor mousse - mango and chocolate - divine! I am sure all of the selections are amazing. Add a glass of Rose on the verandah on a lovely summer evening and the entire experience c'est marveilleux!

We had supper at Esmeralda on a Friday night.. Restaurant was quiet.
6 out 8 of us ordered pasta. Every dish lacked flavour and seasoning. I personally ordered the carbonara.. It was watery and full of chunks of black pepper. No flavour. My nephew ordered the cannelloni with cheese. That tasted sour almost spoiled. Other dishes were the same.. Watery and no flavour. No sauce stuck to the pasta.
Service was ok.. But would not return cuz food was very disappointing. And $$$

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. We started with the Hot Pikilia for 2, scrumptious appetizers. Then I had the leg of lamb, my wife had the souvlaki pork on pita with tzatziki, Everything was delicious, The service was very good also. Enjoyed the meal and we'll go back for sure.

We ate twice at this restaurant from a set menu (based on a local hotel deal) and enjoyed the experience. The menu choices were good, the food very nicely cooked (some dishes were outstanding), and the service pretty good.
Tip: if parking in the nearby lots is full, just park outside on the main road, pulling in as tightly as you can - the locals don't mind and they do it themselves.

Good restaurant before a movie Spago seems to be popular on weekends before movies at the pine cinema since it is close to the cinema. The staff and service is good The mussels were hot and tasty Overall the restaurant is good but nothing special.

We returned for their croissants pur beurre and on this visit we took the time to sit down and order from their menu. Waffles, crêpes, casseroles, omelettes, pain perdu and a "bar à pains" with coffee included. Decent prices (10-15$).
Good service.
Ordered the croissant with two eggs (hard poached on photo) with fruits, bacon and real maple syrup. Side of potatoes baked in duck fat included.
A place worth a détour.

This is a very well run Italian restaurant and many of our fellow diners were clearly regular customers. Our large table enjoyed a variety of pasta and pizza and everyone had very positive comments on their individual dishes. Two thumbs up.

Established in the heart of the Laurentians, L'Entrecote has upheld for more than 15 years a high popularity amongst the amateurs of meats and steaks. Our establishment owes its reputation to its unique and enviable formula:grilled steak served with delicious home made world class sauce. The first course will seduce you with a choice of seasonal cream soup, and for the last course, with home made Deserts that will satisfy even the finest palates. On top of the cuisine experience, you will be welcomed with courtesy and excellent service. It is the combination of these distinctions that make our loyal clientele say: "We are not going to l'Entrecote We're going back."
In a nutshell:
good service
sad that we didnt get a great experience..., the potage was good, i admit, but with too much salt..and I like it salty...but it was the best of the 4 services...the bread also was good wqith the butter at the right temperature...
My main dish, Scalopinetta Parmigiana tasted like tomato sauce out of the can.....
it was tasting iron...the marinara for the Schimp cocktail was just a red sauce wihout flavour...still like out of a can of spaghetti sauce.... the rib steak of my wife was full of nerves and chewy...the bearnaise was, ..i dont know what...didnt taste anything..
the wine was a good Chianti...the dessert was also good..
so for 171.00 Can $ this was quite a bit too pricy for what we got.....sad because this place is really awesome ....message for them : change the cook !!!
