Ate here again on a recent holiday to Barbados, and as usual it was excellent. Scarlet offers great quality food, cocktails and service. We love to eat here when we visit the island and unfortunately we could only fit in one visit, this time. Baxter’s Road chicken and the burger are our favs, but Scarlet offers a great mix of different starters and mains, and Harold is always there to advise on the wine list. Reasonable prices for good food and service..one of our favourite places on the island for dinner.

This is the place near Crane’s beach where the locals and staff from Crane’s Resort go to eat! Much more authentic and fun and way cheaper than eating in the overpriced restaurants in Crane Resort. The food is freshly cooked to order and reliable and tasty, there are also daily specials that were not listed on the menu but the local guys at the next table were eating. We ate here almost daily once we discovered it, as it’s easily accessible out the side gate through the Crane’s Resort Car Park.Locals sit around for hours drinking and watching the cricket or movies if there are no cricket re-runs! The menu includes roti wraps with meat or vegetable curries which were my favourite and my husband usually had fresh fish and salad.Friendly and fun!
