You just never know who your serving. We arrived late in the evening for a nightcap and something light to eat. The place closes at Midnight so we thought no problem it was just 11:05pm. We ordered our drinks and found out the kitchen closes...MoreNellie-We are so sorry to hear about the service you received. We will be sure to discuss it with the staff. For relatively small towns, St. Mary's and Celina have a number of Mexican restaurants. We randomly picked Zcarat and had a couple of unremarkable but filling lunches. With the possible exception of a pretty good Chile poblano, this is typical Mexican-American fare and the dishes that came out of the kitchen were no more than average.
A basket of warm tortilla chips is always welcome, but the accompanying salsa was thin and lacking in much flavor. We were surprised that we had to make a request for hot sauce, which made the salsa and a beef taco much more interesting. This had to be the first Mexican restaurant we've been in that didn't have at least one or two bottles of salsa picante on the table.
Service was quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable. Just don't come in with high expectations.

OK place to visit for bar food. The decorating is very eclectic. Its a mod podge of tables and chairs and decor. Nice patio part for entertainment.. More of a locals hangout I feel. The fried chicken was the best item on the menu. Kinda high priced to for what you get.

The restaurant has been under new ownership, and has been remodeled a bit, with comfortable tables, chairs, and booths. Thankfully they retained the beautiful wooden back bar, and the homey brick walls. It's very comfortable, the food is excellent, and covers a broad variety, at modest prices. A great place for conversation for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Villa Nova probably has the best pizza in the St. Marys area. Just the right proportion of crust to cheese to meat. They also serve one of the best hot pizza subs I've ever had. Get it to go, they do deliver. You can sit inside as well.

First of all, when you order, ask measurements of different sizes. My husband and I ordered a Large, and it was huge!! Had leftovers for 2-3 days!! Also, if you order everything on your pizza, that comes with hot peppers, which is not the norm in our experience. But the pizzas are excellent!

Well it's Big Macs and Fries but also rather cheap. By cheap I don't mean the food. They charge extra for each sauce you ask extra than they think you should have. Extra Mac sauce on that Mac sure .35¢ You would think they would use that to keep the place clean right? Or are they. After all they can only get the order right half the time. That picture is the kid changing table. Icky! At least they had pads.

An interesting place, no one ever seems to be there but they stay open. Run by a older Chinese couple, the wife is waitress and the husband cooks. The wife doesn't speak English to well. But the food is surprisingly good. I had the Lemon Chicken and it was very good. I don't know how they stay open and how they keep fresh ingredients in their kitchen because so few people seem to go there. But I would give it a try. Better than the standard Chinese places around.

The young lady with the great smile and the flower in her hair at the drive up window made our day thank you for hiring good servers... Food was good and fries were hot... but the service is what prompted the review.... Stop by if in town....
