We had a wonderful dinner at this one star in St Malo. Amazing oyster starter, grilled brill, sweet savory langoustine ravioli, followed by lamb and spring veggies. Dessert of a multi layers of different chocolates was divine. Fabulous service, great wine list and innovative decor topped off this delightful dinner experience. A must go to.

Unless you are French do not bother. I have just left this restaurant that is full of excuses. No customer service. Very hot in temperature. We waited for over 2.5 hours in total. The lady in charge made up reasons and excuses for their inefficiency. It is apparently a big deal to serve 2 bowls of ice cream for kids. Over rated food. Not nice and slow staff. Disgusting attitude. Tried to make it my fault as wanted to ask my husband which desert he wanted so that warranted an extra hour of waiting. There are better places that are not b*tchy. Hugely disappointed!

Moderate prices, the beef with sauce was outstanding, the eel was an adventure in dining, the lobster risotto was very good. Staff was very nice and tolerated our attempts to speak French. One server was fluent in English and very helpful. Just a block from our hotel and so glad we discovered it.

There is a reason that this restaurant gets 98 percent excellent reviews. It is small and quiet with a casual and pleasant ambiance. The service is very good and provided with a smile. The menu is limited but of high quality. We ordered two different fish dishes. Both were great. The fish was fresh and the preparation was simple yet flavorful. The bread was fantastic as was the wine. Come see for yourself. You wonât be disappointed.

We ate here twice while staying in Saint Suliac and each time we were impressed with the quality of food, service and friendly and helpful staff.Being British and very poor french speakers we did find that we were vastly out numbered but we were made to feel welcome and where possible staff help us to understand how it all works. What did help was a simple translation on the menu which changed slightly between our visits.Particularly enjoyed the fish dishes. It does get very busy, so if your in the area book in advance.

This was our first of many visits to creperies during our holiday in Britanny and it was the best of the bunch.Excellent service and food.Helpful staff and a good atmosphere.

Quite busy so recommend booking. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, service was fine, it would appear typically French with little English spoken/understood. Food a bit disappointing overall, very average, and so wouldn't rush back as I think there's better restaurants a little further afield.

Delicious, interesting and unique gallettes and crepes in a popular typical Breton creperie. Reservations a must in the evening. The restaurant was especially crowded because they were not serving in part of the restaurant. Many locals patronize the restaurant. A variety of ciders are also served. Located on a very small street where parking is a challenge.

We were looking for a nice place to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday during a short stay near St Malo. Our camp site reception mentioned this place which is located overlooking a beautiful bay in the Rance estuary. After a preliminary visit to check it out we made a reservation for a Monday night (not always easy in France even in tourist areas). We had told the patron that we were 3 plus 1 non-meat eater and he promised to source some local ingredients and prepare a â¬25 per head table d'hote menu as it was a quiet night normally so full a la carte was not available. We arrived to a warm welcome with cocktails in the pretty courtyard with complimentary 'amuses bouches' followed by a superb 3 course dinner cooked over the spectacular open fire that is the restaurant's centre piece. This was first class simple food prepared with love and care that tasted fantastic. We left after excellent wine, coffee and cognac feeling like we had just had a private dinner in an old friend's home. Superb and amazing value for money.

Due to the reviews we expected a lot from this place. In retrospect we realize: some things were good, many things were not. Both appetizers were disappointing, the ravioli watery, the beetroots close to tasteless. Of two times calf one was massively tough. The pre-ordered dessert was sold out at the end. Conclusion: disappointing.Dear Francis, First of all thank you for your review. Your remarks imply an answer from us.The ravioli (which are 3) are not "watery". They came on plate with a celery water wich is a full part of the receipe. It's a shame that you didn't undersand that as it is written on the menu. The beetroot may not been your taste but how could be a beetroot tasteless ! It's marinated into red wine sauce and comes on plate with sour cream spum, smoked duckling breast, wild peppers mix and fines herbs ! Maybe the beetroot wasn't what you expected as you asked our waitress many times "what is a beetroot ?" ! I'm also really suprised about one the calf beeing "tough" as both of your pieces comes from the same animal. Nevertheless you didnt asked us for another one we would had been pleased to prepare again especially for you. Finally, again, we aplogogize that the chocolate dessert you pre-order wasnt avaiblable but I personnaly decided to don't serve it as it didn't meet the quality level that I impose on kitchens.
