Reservation made for 5pm. Arrive at 4:55. Give our name, lady says they'll seat us closer to the top of the hour and we could go wait somewhere. Um, okay. Roughly 12 more people walk in (we were the first people there, as they opened at 5) including a woman who has brought 5 young girls aged 7-9 with her. They are seated first. Fine. Still patiently waiting. After everyone else checks in we go back to the desk as to remind them we're still waiting (mind you, we *made a reservation*). Where are we led? Caddy corner to the full table of little girls. I looked at the hostess and I said, another table please away from the kids? The restaurant is pretty much empty, as they opened at 5. She obliges, leads us to a more private area and we begin our meal. Manager comes over to ask if current table is better, we say yes and thank you. About halfway thru a family is seated across from us with 4 children. The kids are busy on their loud phones and tablets and making random obnoxious noises. I could've had the same pisspoor experience at Red Robin and spent $50 less. My husband and I wanted to celebrate his birthday in a romantic atmosphere and instead we are stuck next to the Brady bunch. We won't be returning; I highly recommend this location take some tips from the owner of The Melting Pot in Huntsville AL. He runs a tight ship and it shows. Exceptional experience a dozen times there and have NEVER been seated next to loud families wearing hoodies and acting like they're in Applebees. Our server tonight though (Keven) was phenomenal and we tipped him accordingly. He was the only positive thing about this experience.We are so disappointed to hear about your experience with loud guests seated near you and your husband during your husband's birthday celebration dinner. We will absolutely use your feedback as a training opportunity with our Hosts. We will pass along your kind words about Keven to him, as it will make his day. A manager will be calling you today to talk with your further about your experience, as it is our goal for each of our guests to have a Perfect Night Out. Thank you for your feedback and please accept our apologies for being seated near loud guests.

This is an intimate French bistro with a charming French atmosphere serving amazing food at surprisingly modest prices considering the quality of everything. The food here on Valentines Day 2019 was especially outstanding and to our recollection was the best weâve ever had here. The rack of lamb was a generous portion, perfectly cooked to order (medium rare), was really tender and had a superb flavor. At $32 accompanied by 2 sides, it is amazing value. The mixed vegetables were way above average and delicious. The mashed potatoes were actually quite goodâthe only problem was that my wifeâs pommes frites (really thin French fries) were even better and next time I will substitute the fries for any other potato. My wife had the steak and frites as part of the $36 prix fixe which also gave her an appetizer and dessert. The steak was 2 four oz. filets with bearnaise sauce, the amazing pommes frites fries and the same delicious mixed vegetables. The steak was first rate in every way and my wife liked it as well as J Gilbertâs. For $36, steak of that quality plus sides, appetizer and dessert is superb value. The creme brûlée dessert was fabulous and among the best Iâve ever tasted. Service was perfectly adequate in every way albeit not quite at the level of Bristol or J Gilbertâs. So, this place really deserves patronage because it offers amazing food in a charming atmosphere at really reasonable prices. We plan to return soon.
