I typically order a salad and garlic cheese bread once a week and have other co workers (including a new hire) who I referred here as well. While the salad and bread reign, the service is less worthy of a crown. This young lady answered the phone and was quite rude when I asked for one piece of bread. She indicated that they only do three slices. I shared with her that we have ordered one slice on several occasions. She said she didnât know anything about that then held the phone. I said hello and she said hold on. When she clicked back over she repeated herself, gave me my total, and hung up. Just like that, they have lost a loyal customer. Multiply my weekly salad and bread (approximately $10-$14) x 52 plus the other two employees who buy maybe every other week...

I was staying couple blocks away to be in court the next day. Picked up kale salad and minestrone. Both very good and priced well. I wish Iâd eaten in because atmosphere was very nice.

Ordered pizza for takeoutâdr. Dre. Good stuff. The crust was just the right combination of crunchy and chewy. Cheese and sauce were in good proportion. Toppings worked nicely together. Gal who took our phone call was very friendly and easy to hear and understand. Definitely a pizza I would recommend to visitors and locals of St. Louis!

Had high expectations due to great reviews here on TripAdvisor and itâs ranking as #18 in the city. Very confused by this rating as my experience did not measure up. Very warm outside AND Inside the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. We were seated 25 minutes later than our reservation time (745pm) and comped a toasted ravioli. It was not so much about the lateness of being seated but the shortness and responses to questions about timing of being seated from the front of house staff that made this wait annoying. The caprese salad was good, dolmades and ravioli were ok, but the pasta with red sauce and sausage was unpleasant. I have never tasted a smokier red sauce. It almost tasted âburntâ. The sausage was also quite spicy and the pasta was nothing special- an inedible dish. The prices are quite good and itâs a family atmosphere, but I will not be returning.

Pietro's Restaurant was started in 1960 as a small, family operated bar and dining establishment with just two employees. Over the years it has expanded and evolved into a restaurant and banquet facility. Still family owned, Pietro's has served generation
We were heading to another place on The Hill yesterday for dinner when we diverted to Pietro's for a very nice simple and reasonable dinner out. We were fortunate enough to be seated in Gina's area and she provided her usual excellent service. We were greeted at our table by the owners, which is always appreciated. The food for the prices was marvelous, as usual. I had my favorite, Chicken Maria. Gina mentioned dessert but already seemed to know we were headed to another nearby fave, Ted Drewes. Life is good "Guys & Gals".

We specialize in Wood Fired Pizza, slow smoked BBQ and offer a wonderful selection of local craft beer on tap.
A salmon dinner a few weeks ago was excellent, with the salmon cooked just right and an interesting side. So the Chef's Choice pizza this week sounded fine: Flyin' Hawaiian, with pineapple and prosciutto. What could go wrong?First, it took forever. Usually pizzas are out within minutes. At least I'd ordered a half salad - the vinaigrette listed wasn't exactly what arrived, but okay - and it was nearly finished when the pizza arrived, covered with melted mozzarella to the point of overkill. You couldn't see what was underneath. Its pineapple tasted good - but this chunk of pork? Surely not prosciutto - maybe leftover pork loin? There was absolutely no prosciutto in the whole pizza, just ¼'thick pieces of chewy meat. When I asked the server, she came back to say that "the chef says that that is our prosciutto."Weird. Fluid definition, obviously. (And the offer to make another wasn't a choice - who wants another of the same?)I was also unexpectedly disappointed in the beer offerings. Usually there are 6-7 outstanding local beers among the draft choices, always some good seasonals. No, not this visit.. Nothing special. They offered the usual big brewery choices, just on draft. What fun is that?So it's as though something happened and the TwinOak we enjoyed a few weeks ago disappeared, and a lesser-quality option was put in its place. All I can say is that the salad was fresh and that a half-order is more than sufficient. Which isn't the point of visiting a place like TwinOaks....Thank you for providing us feedback about your experience. Customer feedback is very important to us and we are sorry to hear we didn't meet your expectations. We strive to make sure every customer leaves happy and satisfied with our services. Thank you for your time and we hope to see you again soon so we can provide you with a five-star experience!

We eat at Dewey's every time I visit St. Louis. Dewey's has great pizza - very unique combinations or build your own - and wonderful salads!! There is street parking at this location (both locations are great!). There is often a line on busy nights/weekends but you can check online and join the line online if needed. Dewey's has a pizza of the month flavor also. Coming up at the end of February is Wild Mushroom! (A personal favorite!)

When you dine with Farotto's, whether it be in our restaurant, a few chef prepared meals-to-go, or for a catered event, you can always be sure you are receiving quality meals with world class service! Providing great food to our customers is only a half o
We ate dinner at Farottoâs on a week night, three different pastas and one veggie pizza. I like the idea that there are a nice variety of pastas on the menu, but we couldnât find any dish that we were truly excited about. Farottoâs seemingly has been built in stages over the years with no natural flow to the place. There are narrow hallways and you have to walk down through a service area to get to the back dining room. There is a nice deck, however, with STL weather cooperates. Our service was good enough and we each enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine. The red wine would taste better, however, if it were served a few degrees below room temp. Farottoâs is easy to find, but thereâs a lot of traffic on week nights around dinner time. Parking is around the back in a too dark parking lot. We donât have many reasons to return soon.

We stopped in for dinner after reading TripAdvisor reviews. As usual we were not disappointed! There was a 25 minute wait, but not unexpected on a Saturday evening. They are very efficient. The staff were friendly and competent. Our Pizza was perfect and the side Caesar salads were great. Prices are reasonable! We would have never found Deweyâs if not for TripAdvisor!
