We had lunch at the cafe before taking the self guided tour. The cassava pancakes with pulled pork were fantastic. Drinks were great too - I tried Bellini with some local juice and my husband had an artisan craft beer. And a lovely breeze on a hot day was a huge bonus!

Naniki Barbados is located in the scenic Scotland District on the eastern side of the island. The property is renowned for its spectacular views, cool breezes and tranquil surroundings, fine dining restaurant with a Caribbean flair, country style well app
Drove all the way up to Naniki's early Sunday afternoon for the 'famous' lunch buffet and live jazz; as per our guidebook and their website. The view is beautiful! But... there was NO music and only one large table of locals eating lunch. We were told by the proprietoress that the live jazz was only in January, even though their ad says Every Sunday, that lunch is a buffet and that the price is $75BDS ($37.5US). One would have to be desperate to pay that kind of money for a buffet meal with so few patrons. We weren't and so we left. We had tried to contact them before driving out there, but attributed their lack of response to how busy they must be on Live Jazz Sunday... haha

Our cruise stopped in Barbados, and we informed our tour guide that we would like to have some authentic Caribbean style food for lunch. He took us to Sands Dunes and highly recommended the macaroni pie. It was outstanding. I also had grilled Mahi Mahi and a side of rice and peas. All of them were very good and the price was quite reasonable. I had a bottle of pineapple/guava punch flavored with real cane sugar and it was really SWEET! I loved it.The surroundings are very basic. A few tables inside and some picnic style benches outside. Our tour guide sat and had lunch with us and gave us some history since he was a lifelong Barbados resident. We highly recommend booking private tours when visiting these islands. The cost is not much more than a group tour and you can tailor the activities to meet your needs. The big tours would never stop at a small place like this due to the wait and their limited time. It's nice to really see what the locals do on a daily basis. If you have the opportunity, stop and have lunch and enjoy the casual surroundings. As an added plus, the restrooms were clean.

Sam and Deborah do a great job here. The food is excellent. The company warm and inviting and you are never left alone at the bar without being invited in to a smart, interesting, wide ranging conversation with locals who are delighted to share their hospitality with you. I can heartily recommend the lobster with rice and peas. Itâs utterly delicious.

We live in Barbados on the east coast near this restaurant and know the husband and wife owners Trevor & Audrey. We had a wonderful lunch today with fish fingers(king fish),soup(pumpkin & butternut squash) then lamb curry with peas and rice and vegetables. Did not need dessert Audrey buys all the food and is at the restaurant each day. Ros, her employee, does the serving and is delightful. The generous food portions were genuine Bajan cuisine, served piping hot.The location alone is worth the journey but the food too will delight. If you are not satisfied ask for Audrey.

I have heard it is not as good as it was previously but it was still a a great day out, lovely drive to see the countryside and great views while eating. I would advise to get there early to avoid long queues. The food is lovely and thereâs a great choice. Great atmosphere, will definitely visit again. If you are not big eaters I would advise sharing as the portions are quite large.

We are staying near Bathsheba at the Atlantis Hotel and it being the end of their annual cycle, they donât serve dinner. So we have had to get creative, since most places are the same. Dinaâs is no exception. At this time of year they focus on lunch for the locals. However, we dropped by the day before and pre-arranged to eat dinner, but only if we came by 4:30. It meant that they had to keep the kitchen open a little longer, which was nice of them. The food was fresh and pretty good. We both had mahi mahi, or dolphin fish (not the mammal). I had the jacket potato with cheese and mushroom. My wife had the fried potato wedges. Both choices were good. Our meal came with a green salad, but no bread. We washed it all down with Banks lager. We had our dinner under the shade of their small, open-walled tent with a nice breeze off the water and the sounds of the surf drowning out other tables conversations. We got lucky with the table that remained for us as it was upwind of a table of smokersâ a problem seldom encountered these days. A decent home style meal.

Dining at the Atlantis Restaurant has become a favourite tradition with scores of locals and visitors to Barbados, especially on Wednesdays and Sundays for our famous buffets. If you are thinking of hosting a function at the Atlantis, this is not a proble
We stopped here after visiting the Andromeda Botanical Gardens for lunch. This was a really nice unexpected find. This restaurant is part of the Atlantis Hotel and sits on the edge of the ocean with great views. The service here was very good. The food was excellent. I would recommend coming here for lunch if in the area.

Located in historic Bathsheba on the rugged east coast of Barbados, Round House has been a popular destination for locals and visitors for 150 years. With a colorful history as a train stop and longtime private residence, Round House today is one of the i
We had a nice lunch here that was reasonable value. When I previously visited a few years ago I remember the food being more impressive. Setting is still nice of course.

Cutters is a local deli catering to all food lovers; we feature Bajan flying fish cutters, very special rum punch, and traditional West Indian - roti, jerk, pepper pot... and some comfort classics pizza, quesadilla, ICE CREAM !!!
Had take out lunch. Service was very good. Menu online was outdated it seemed. Fish and ham cutters were tasty but very overpriced. Fish cakes were all flour and also expensive. The server who prepared our order was friendly and very helpful.Probably would not go there again.
