The Le Flambeau Restaurant & Beach Bar is located right on the beach, opening from 7 in the morning until 11 at night. We offer a wide choice of delicious Breakfasts, a wide and varied choice of Appetizers, Salads, Sandwiches, Burgers, Caribbean and Creol
I think in general the overall restaurant scene in Dominica has suffered since the hurricane and therefore the overall quality of food. This restaurant with great views and decoration was empty and then the overall quality of the food and service suffered with it. I really liked the place and I really hope they recover because the place deserve it

My wife and I came here on the Saturday before Easter Sunday, 2017. We arrived just after 7pm, after a long hike along Segment 13 of the Waitukubuli Trail.Being a holiday, I was afraid they would not be open. (Nothing else was!) Just the bar (which was in full swing, with a couple of fellas talking it up).The chef greeted us, and said she could help us out as long as it wasn't anything too extensive. She informed us she had an early church service she was trying to make it to the next morning.I ordered a burger with ham and a side of fries; my wife had the jambalaya pasta. My wife, who can be very picky and snobbish about food, loved her dish and demanded we come back another day for a fish dish.I have to say my burger was one of the best I ever had! A healthy portion of beef topped with a thick slice of cured ham, crunchy lettuce and aromatic tomato, in a bun--which at first I doubted due to its pale color--that was hearty and tasty, and not at all soggy as anticipated. As if she read my mind, there was just the right amount of mayo added to the bun (I hate ketchup on burgers)! We highly recommend trying this place out! It's right on the beach, and I'm sure it has a spectacular view during daytime hours...

arrived mid afternoon on Christmas Day a little hungry and they rustled up some amazing grilled fish curry and jerk chicken. Super friendly waitress was charming and the spot was beautiful, now debating going back for the evenings festivities...

This was the best fish dinner we had in Dominica, bar none. Generous portions, fresh fish, freshly prepared. The cook is amazing. The wait staff, however, provided a very weird experience. Told us she couldn't make me a rum punch, despite the dazzling array of bottles behind the bar. Actually, told me she didn't have anything I asked for, so I gave up and told her to make me whatever she liked. She returned with a small cocktail that seemed to be based on Bailey's. My husband and son sensibly stuck with beer. The pre-drinks wouldn't normally be an issue for me, but we waited more than an hour for food because she had to call the cook in. Maybe she was having a bad night, maybe we were dining too early. Go for the food, but be prepared for a weird experience.

While visiting friends in Portsmouth we were invited to join them for a meal at Sisters Beach bar. Tucked away and right on the beach it was a perfect setting. The welcome was friendly and the music videos being played on a big screen gave way to some great reminiscing as the play list was very good. Not loud at all but enough to enjoy while chatting. The menu had a good selection including localy caught lionfish which is good news for the reefs.Over all the food was excellent. The service was very friendly and informal and I would certainly recommend Sisters to anyone. To find it turn off the main road behind the IGA supermarket and drive for 1/2 mile straight toward the beach. Ample parking also.
A fabulous hideaway surrounded by nature overlooking the West Coast Caribbean Sea. A local business with great character and ambiance â Come on over to my place and Experience Differentâ Dominica Eco Setting Marvellous Views Great Service
I was staying in the village of Dublanc to the north if the island and stumbled on this amazing place after doing Syndicate trail. It's newly opened and still a work in progress but is so tastefully done, clean and unique. The owner Marguerite, Dominican by birth, returned from the UK to fulfill her dream and a dream it is. She is an amazing host and makes you feel right at home. The food is just as homely, with no menus as yet, the divine Miss M simply tells you what she is offering for the day, and then blows your pallette away. To give you and idea I stayed in Dominica for 10 days and ate there every day except on the days she was closed (Mondays) and that meant a two hour return drive when I was staying in the village of Soufriere, but the ambience, the food and Marguerite made it all worth it. It's extremely affordable, way under priced (please keep it that way M âº), awesome views especially sunsets, classy yet rustic, uniquely informal, fantastic food with more than you can eat, and clean tastefully done washrooms. No she did not pay me to write this, :-) I actually begged her to get on Trip Advisor so I could. Plantation Grove really was the highlight of my stay. Thanks M. Wow fabulous I'm not worthy Thanks again Hope to see you again Regards

My husband and I had a big lunch here after exploring the Indian River. We had the place to ourselves and the owner's were wonderfully accommodating. We had the most delicious meal with impeccable service with beautiful views of the water! Can't wait to go back here again for more lobster. We had conch salad, tuna tar tar and tons of lobster!

French and Caribean food, beach bar with live music, barbecues, French bakery
Great location on a gorgeous beach. We ordered a burger and fish plate. Burger was a small burnt Patty. Not good at all. Grilled king fish was overcooked and too tough to eat. Service was super slow and never checked back on us. There are better options nearby
