Off the beaten path but quality Mediterranean in St. Francisville. Very casual. Wait staff very attentive. Kibbi are home made and a great starter. This is a nice change from the other local places in New Roads and St. Francisville. Owner planing an expansion into space not used in the current building. Restaurant has been open 4 years in the current location.

Homemade, delicious breakfast. Be sure to get the stone-ground grits. The pancakes are great too. A really neat little hole-in-the-wall place. They even have books you can peruse. A great place to gather & chat.

For daily specials simply come in or call the restaurant. For additional information & daily social updates.
The Magnolia Cafe is just what you would expect in a small town like St Francisville. The food is simply and very good, the portions are generous, and the service is professional and friendly. There is ample seating inside, and outside dining is also available. No nonsense food at no nonsense prices. You won't be disappointed.

Everything I have eaten is great. The cheese logs are wonderful, along with the seafood dishes and pasta. The burgers are great also. This is a can't miss restaurant. There is an outdoor deck with oak trees but there is no cover on hot sunny days other than the oak trees.

We decided to stop at St Francisville on our road trip to Memphis and we found this gem. It was delicious. I tried the boudin ball with pepper jack cheese in the middle, the brisket sandwich, and the smoked wing. The boudin ball and wing were amazing. Must place to eat if stopping in St. Francisville. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly.

Good Mexican Restaurant for the area, I have eaten there many times and have had no problems. The chips and salsa taste homemade, and I always ask for a second helping.

Unhappy with my accomodation choice, we decided a local pizza binge along with wine would cheer us up.
Busy spot, lots of local families, which provided enjoyable activity as we waited for our pizza from the friendly staff. Sadly, although we ate about half of what we ordered, neither of us were interested in keeping the rest for following day, so we trashed it. Not our normal behavior.

We offer a very versatile menu consisting of several Mexican Dishes- fajitas, Quesadillas, Chimichamgas, as well as hand cut steaks, fresh seafood, burgers, wraps. We have an outdoor patio that is screened in.
I guess the first clue that this wasn't really a Mexican restaurant was the menu, where the Mexican food was almost an afterthought. After ordering the 2.95 (typically complimentary) chips and salsa, we all ordered our entrees, with disappointing results. The tortillas were room temperature, right from the plastic bag variety and everything else was similarly bland. One bright spot was the shrimp from the shrimp fajitas, which were nicely done. Not sure what they did with the refried beans, but they literally tasted like dirt. Overall, nothing was bad enough to send back, but between the so-so food and inattentive service, I'd say pass on this place.

It is located in the heart of St Francisville next to the park and a couple of restaurants. The staff or owners are very nice. And the house is original ... old. the breakfast is awesome. some rooms are small. reserve one..

There was nothing fancy about the food but it was good and well prepared . My burger was on an excellent bun and a good size. My friend was equally happy with her Ruben. We enjoyed the informal and family feel of the cafe, including the cooks preschool granddaughter who brought us pats of butter. The service was personal and attentive.
