Oasis in the dessert
Reviewed By Vanessa WAfter a short drive through the lush, green countryside of Dover, Kitson Town in the hills of St. Catherine appears this unexpected and welcoming oasis. This Resort (currently being renovated under new management) is the perfect getaway for someone looking for peace and quiet...far removed from the hustle and bustle of City life. Perfect if you love nature and the outdoors. The rooms are comfy and the service was great. Really looking forward to our next trip when those inviting outdoor pools and Jacuzzi are completely renovated. The children loved playing like happy goat kids across the wide expanse of lawn grass and are looking forward to their renovated play area. Really counting down to our next visit.....
4. El Cielo
The house is sometimes called 'El Cielo' (Heaven) by friends of Joy (owner's wife). It is located on a plateau, in an area known as St Georges, overlooking the turquoise Caribbean ocean and experiences an year round weather, similar to that of an Arizonian spring and summer (USA). The view from 'El Cielo' is exhilarating; with meandering mountains in the background etc.
