Only went for a drink, Modern bar with comfy Seating undercover and river Terrace, live music on the night we went. The band played background sophisticated music which was a relaxing change from some of the loud base boom played in many Thai bars.
Drinks not cheap but the place is upmarket.

We ate here twice over 4 days.
The location next to the lighted River Kwai bridge and ambience get top marks.
The multi-tiered design, sloping down towards the river but not be great for seniors who have walking challenges.
Food, service and prices were good for a restaurant of this calibre.
We particularly enjoyed the sun-dried fried pork and a green chicken curry.

Homemade bakery | Best coffee in town | Breakfast&Brunch | Dinner | Cocktails |
If you want a really good coffee and you like your coffee hot come here. Two Flat Whites later and Starbucks will have no competition here. Brownie was ok. Cappuccino was good. Prices are reasonable, Flat white 50/60 Bhat, same price for a Cappuccino or Cafe Latte. Many iced coffee and Teas also available. Unfortunately all the fresh fruit juices we wanted were already sold out before midday. Best of all free wi-fi.

Sai Yok's one and only Pizza, Pasta & Hamburger Restaurant is now located at the intersection of Highway 323 & 3343 in Kanchanaburi's Lum Sum District and just 200 meters from Mahidol University's Kanchanaburi campus. Select from a variety of western foods including pizza, pasta, fish & chips and burgers. Our ingredients are always fresh, with our meats and vegetables sourced locally. Eat in, takeaway, or Delivery.
I enjoyed some special tastes in pizza, that no other pizza shops can given, still my mouth is watering.

Pita Steakhouse is in the heart of Pingplalee Resort, Kanchanaburi. We serve steak, soup, salad, pasta and bakery by the resort owner.
It's a perfect place for dinner because the owner cooked everything by himself even the sauce for the steak and salad. The food are made by premium ingredients and the taste of food is very delicious. I'm very happy with the service provided by the owner which make us feel like home. It's all homemade that is awesome!
One thing, you need to call before hand because the ingredient are all buy daily and owner need time to prepare the food.

Surprised to find a restaurant set on two levels, open to the elements albeit under a roof with spectacular views of the cliffs and river. Buffet provided - main courses, desert and tea/coffee. Plenty of food, quality fine. Also handy for the toilets

A serendipitous find, we stopped off here for a late afternoon lunch on the way back to Kanchanaburi city after visiting the Waterfalls. The featured ingredient in many dishes (also the name of the restaurant), pak wan, makes a novelty out of many familiar Thai dishes. We recommend the fried pak wan salad and the black pepper beef.

Authentic and original Thai food using local and home grown ingredients. Fabulous service amidst a casual garden atmosphere.
We stopped here as this place was listed on TA but had no reviews yet.
So we gave it a shot and we were not disappointed. We requested to eat something local and got served a great prawn curry and a delightful fried fish. Very tasty indeed and different than your local fares.
The setting is nice, greenish around some ponds.
The atmosphere is reggae music, i loved it and the best of all is that they serve rare imported german beers. Oh boy did i have a treat !!
So in a nut shell if you are passing by this restaurant located near the river kwai on road 323, do yourself a favor and stop there.
One thing though, I wish the owner would put some soap in the bathroom, that would be much appreciated.

A very pleasant late lunch at the restaurant with gorgeous view. The local fish dishes. We recommended the tamarind soup with pickled bamboo and fish, deep fried fish with spice salad. The salted deep fried chicken was a bit too much fish sauce, but it was okay with plain rice. The wild mushrooms salad was nice.
