A few minutes away from Nonagon Market, is this hidden treasure.
An amazing desert cafe, in absolutely beautiful grounds. Namon Nomwan does have onsite parking, but it can get extremely crowded, as just off the main road is Namon Nomwans sister shop which sells noodle and rice dishes.
The day we went, we had something to eat at the sister shop and went to Namon Nomwan for desert, the day we went it did not open until Midday.
The cafe, has absolutely beautiful grounds, with 2 main buildings and extensive seats outside. As it was so hot we decided to eat inside, the cafe was really clean, with different size and style of tables for you to choose from. The staff were very attentive, and quickly took our order. The drinks arrived in just a few minutes, quickly followed by my partners desert, mine unfortunately was not so quick and had to check with the waitress that it hadn't been forgotten, but it was well worth the wait. The desert choice here is extensive, and extremely delicious.
If anyone is visiting Bangsaen, I would highly recommend eating some seafood on the beach road, and take a quick drive to Namon Nomwan for desert, it will be a culinary delight.

I have taken cold Thai tea and green tea, they were great as well as hot coffee was really intensive and mild. Bakery was also good, a lot of choices for your coffee side. If you want to find a great location to read, work and meet in Bangsean beach try this place! It did not dissapoint us and I believe you too!

As all the previous reviews only mention coffee and cake I wasn't sure if this place served dinner ....but it does. They have a regular menu.....burgers salads etc and on Friday and Saturday evenings they have a seafood BBQ. We had dinner last night and it was very good. There was a nice band playing and all the food we had was excellent. I chose a good bottle of wine to accompany the dinner which was fine. There was a pleasant atmosphere and the service was efficient.

He is Coffee lover, Photography mania and I'm healthy organic vegan eater, Terrarium worker. We make a space that we can share a interesting thing with you like in your friend living room not just a simple coffee shop. I like to create a new menu of muffin and easy bakery in vegan and healthy minimal style.
Très bel endroit où nous avons été accueillis avec le sourire. Ils font des pâtisseries bio et veganes. Le café est délicieux. Nous avons pris un café alfogato (avec une glace en guise d'île flottante) : délicieux!
Musique douce.
Un peu cher mais atypique en Thaïlande.
Nice place, welcomed by a smiling young woman. They make homemade organic and vegan bakeries. The coffee is good.We took a coffee alfogato (ice cream in the coffee) : amazing!
Soft music, quiet and calm.
a little expensive for Thailand but worth it

Came across this restaurant by chance and it became the highlight of my stay in Bangsaen. Very interesting design concept with care taken in every detail. Essentially Thai cuisine but some western dishes are available. This will become the 'benchmark' restaurant in this area in a very short time ! Highly recommend anyone to visit this restaurant / diner.

This seems to becoming the ' in place ' to hang out in the center of Bangsen. It is perfectly located across the road from the sea and the clientele is mainly a young, trendy crowd. It's very pleasant sitting on their Terrace looking at the ocean although there is a small air conditioned interior. If you feel like an iced beer, they have that too.

We had eaten on the beach during the day and decided to find something light to eat in the evening. We had walked past Kantary a couple of times, it looked nice so we popped in. There on a table were some nicely presented salads, perfect for our evening meal. I ordered the salmon teriyaki salad and a couple of fruit smoothies. The smoothies were great but quite sweet but to be fair, I've found that Thai taste is sweeter than the European at times. When my meal turned up I was very disappointed, it was a very small salmon fillet, two lettuce leaves and two pots of straight out if a bottle dressings. We called over a waitress and complained that my two lettuce leaves didn't look at all like the salads on the table and was told "they are special ones, different, this is how we do the normal ones". Not good enough, you're expensive, which I don't mind if the food is good and there's enough of it but your food isn't good and a salad isn't two lettuce leaves. I would also suggest your "chef" takes a look on the Internet, there are lots of quite easy to make dressings on there.
