We actually visited here twice as our first visit was okay and the options in Nuwara Eliya are limited. However our second time was really disappointing, our chips came before our burgers which also came before our drinks. The staff charged us 4x the price for a coffee as stated on the menu we spotted something similar happening to some other guys there. To round it all of we both had stomach bugs all evening having eaten there.

AÂ quick stop en-route to our hotel. The guided tour of the factory was really interesting and we tried (and liked) tea without milk for the first time. The shop seemed quite expensive but then we only normally buy cheap tea bags and this is a superior product.

Stopped here for a look at the jewellery upstairs which was really nice. Got a very pleasant surprise to discover a really good cafe downstairs that had real cappacino, along with a good range of teas & cold drinks, as well as really nice food that was well priced. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again. Really clean & good western toilet facilities as well. Loved it!Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit. After your factory tour, come here for a free cup of BOP. They have some nice desserts, but it's not a restaurant. Then go next door and buy some of their great tea!

Lunch of pizza , two curries and Lassi. Served by Suranga. Wonderful service. Cannot go wrong with the pastries as well. Restrooms were clean as well as the kitchen. Prices are very reasonable

Blue field offers a free guided tour in the factory. Our guide speeded up the tour with shallow presentations of the tea making process - too fast, not too engaged, but still worth while. Fantastic tea shop where you may taste your selections before buying.

Enjoyed our High Tea experience. Service was excellent and the teas very good. A nice setting in a lovely old hotel. Nice selection of food but not on par with London experiences .... which is to be expected, otherwise a 5 star rating. Price is very reasonable and definitely worth going
