Reviewed By CMSoonBooked for 3 nights with family for a seaview private villa with swimming pool. Understand because of covid some facilities like gym and SPA are closed. What is good: 1) Unit is spacious for a family of 4 adults with basic facilities and toiletries. 2) The reception staffs are very accomodating and helpful with fast action. 3) Quiet and less crowded. 4) Design of unit is beautiful. What is negative and needed serious improvement: 1) Unit is very run down. 2) refrigerator leaking, 3) folding doors cannot closed after openning with worn out rails, 4) masterbed old with squeeky sound, 5) toilet shower plug missing. 6) swimming pool extremely small can only have one person to swim. 7) TV channels limited to only a few 8) No Free WIFI in the unit. Need to pay to loan a portable WIFI for unit use. 9) A lot of flies sharing your breafast meal at their cafe area. 10) Limited choice of continental breafast and fried chicken is cold. 11) Need a car because nearest restaurant is about 20 minutes drive away. Takes about 60-90 minutes drive from airport to the unit depending on traffic. Avoid the 5-6pm with heavy traffic if possible. Not worth value for money. Would not recommend this resort.

Reviewed By piringusI have had previously booked a stay at one of their villas [pre-COVID era] and back then, the experience was much pleasant. HOWEVER After my recent visit, I can no longer encourage potential visitors/tourists to stay at their premises. It is severely undermaintained, dirty and downright NOT WORTH your money! [or your time to be honest]. It costs me around 500 to 600 bucks for the night, and I must say it is like daylight robbery if you choose to stay at their premises! During our stay - faulty aircon, our private pool the next morning suddenly was drained out without any prior notice and there were too many flies INSIDE THE HOUSE! So please, PLEASE REFRAIN yourselves from BOOKING A STAY at this property! Save your hard-earned money and go somewhere else! I implore potential visitors/tourists TO STAY AWAY!

There is a quiet bay for a swim with a small island with coral sites are nearby. Villa is Balinese style with outside kitchen,bathroom & pool. Near to the Tip of Borneo.

Reviewed By WorldGluttonThe bumpy ride from Kinabalu National Park took us approximately half hour to arrive at the entrance of Agapanthus House at 5pm on 28 Jan 2020. The House was not ready for check in as housekeeping is in the midst of cleaning. Agapanthus House is beautifully designed , fully furnished with a living room, dining area, kitchen with plenty of spices, kitchen ware, utensils, stove, pots and pans - a balcony area with a barbecue available for use. There are 3 bedrooms , 4 bathrooms all set up with basic amenities, as well as a selection of activities such as movies, books, board games and fast speed wireless internet connection. Only shortfall is there is insufficient wall plugs , the wall socket in twinbedded room is off the wall and the table lamp has no bulb. There is a safe but it is locked and the Owner's clothes are still in the chest drawers . This House offers panoramic views of the magnificent Mount Kinabalu nestled amongst an awe inspired landscape. It is just a walk away from the Mesilau Strawberry Farm. We had their steamboat fare which offers a selection of fresh vegetables and chicken meat from their farm. All in all it was an amazing time spend here , it is a relaxing home away from home for relax and retreat . Worth Recommending !!!

There they told us that Mañana is closed since around 1 Year. Hope this information is us full for other travellers. Mañana still recommended in Lonely Planet.

Reviewed By Alberto1968If you dare going that chances are you are a serious diver. Sipadan just 20 minutes boat time to the south will not let you down. The hotel first. It is a water village, possibly the oldest one on Mabul, Sipadan sister island. It shows its age but still preserves its charme and comfort. We went for a "lux" room. Spacious, comfortable, litteraly surrounded by the sea and wobbling pushed by the relentless waves whose sound will coddle you over night. The bathroom is again large, the facilities and shower not exactly brand new but working and clean with a very much needed hot showers always available. Food, food is various and good enough, a lot of fish well cooked, crabs, fresh king prawns and all kinds of other delicacies. if you have a sweet tooth you wont be disappointed either, pastries, cakes abound. Now to the gem of the crown. Diving. These are professionaly run operations. Dive masters are competent, cautious and will allow you under water just the right amount of leeway. everything is disciplined and well run. Dive sites in Sipadan are world reknonwn. It is my second time here and they are even better than I remembered. Head to SMW with confidence. It is worth it.

Breakfast was simple and adequate enough to start off the day. Tip of Borneo is less then 100 metres away from our villa. great view for photography session. You can catch both sunrise and sunset from the same place. Pray for a clear weather and it's a photographer heaven !

Reviewed By Anne WThe hotel had decided to cancel my booking 2 weeks before my family trip due (right before CNY). Reason quoted due to major in-room defects. I had to cancel my family trip with no other option as all other places were fully booked for the upcoming festive season. They said I will receive a full refund within 10 working days. When I finally received it, they made me bore the bank charges which cost SGD20. Despite numerous follow up on this issue, they chose not to respond!

Need some extra and soft pillow.it will very nice if each bathroom had ventilation fan.Overall a comfortable stay. TQ
