Rybnik [ˈrɨbɲik] ( listen) (German: Rybnick, Silesian: Rybńik) is a city in southwestern Poland, in the Silesian Voivodeship. The city first developed as a fishing centre (rybnik means fishpond in several Slavic languages) in the Middle Ages, then was a capital of so-called Rybnik State. Rybnik grew as an important centre of coal mining and the seat of the surrounding county in the 19th century. Under Poland's communist rule from 1945-1989 the city was projected to grow as a main mining centre of southern Poland.

Dares: nudle i pizza is a place where you can eat something tasteful, fresh and cheap. You can eat inside or take the food away. Our place is the best choice if you look for meals well balanced - we offer our traditional pizza dough with always the best ingredients. Our variety of pastas will definitely surprise you - it is something totally new in our region. You will not regret, we are waiting for you!
Głównie zamawialiśmy pizzę, są różnego rozmiaru, więc każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Bardzo dobre ciasto, dużo dodatków i najważniejsze donoszą na czas.

This restaurant is obviously popular in the area. They have above the main place a floor with hotel rooms. Room was very big with nice bathroom and everything necessary for one night stay. Breakfast was served to me (it was not on a block table) and it was OK.
And all this which was without any high end luxurious items, but very neat and simple was costing me around 30 EURO. I cannot complain at all.

Just recently we ordered 5 rolls of sushi but we have received 6. There was no ginger included which is of course unacceptable! Sushi wasn't as good as they make in restaurant. If that happens again we will send everything back! Sushi in general is good but chefs has got still a lot to learn. Regards

The restaurant is located at the country side by the lake and forest. This modern building complex (it offers some hotel rooms, bonfire shed, children playground, fishing site) is good for all kind of events starting from business/family meal and ending with weddings and other...MoreThank you and welcome back.

We discovered this place by chance. Thereupon we love mexican cuisine we dropped by and we absolutely loved it. As for Rybnik, a place like that really makes the job. We loved their tacos, burritos and salads. And the best was their guacamole home-made. The service is really kind and helpful, loved their local decorations and menu style. You really can feel comfortable and great. Highly recommend. In a word- un sitio genial.

Lebanese / Polish dishes were very interesting. Wine by the glass can be filled a little bit more however staff is very friendly and prompted to our request politely.

We were there with the family. Unfortunatedly, the fish in the risotto I ordered was not a fillet. Yet, the pasta was very good. I wouldn't recommend the salad as a main dish. The service was kind and professional, I have nothing to complain here.
One thing, I have to admit: The idea of serving cucumber as a sorbet is fantastic. And I could go there again just for the lava cake, it's sooo good!

Visit with friends with very positive outcome. Amazing soups/creams and salads. Few dishes still needs to be worked on but in general all good! Smacznego

First off, not easy to find, we walked right past it. Hint, it is downstairs next door to a night called Ambrosia, just off the main square.
The idea is great and the ambience in the brick vaulted basement restaurant is okay, but in need of re-decoration. The Seating is in small pods of tables located in alcoves off a main hallway. The music is nostalgic 50s/60s American hits....but just as my wife mentioned to deaf old me " that's the third time I.ve heard that song " a table close to us asked the server if they could get some new music as they were also tired of the repetition.
THE FOOD......we shared the sampler appetiser : Batter fried cauliflower and broccoli ( okay but bland ) chicken wings (nicely grilled over wood apparently but also unseasoned) and very small rather tasteless Onion rings which I believe may have been a frozen product brought in...due to the uniformity and look of the product. The dipping sauces were very sad, an herbed sour cream, ketchup and a sweet bbq sauce. Luckily there was Tabasco at the table so we rescued the sauces with a few generous splashes! I ordered the NY Cheeseburger, which was pretty decent, juicy and served on a nice fresh bun. My wife had the El Paso Burger which said was okay without much enthusiasm. We agreed that seasoning was not the chef's forte. Oh, yes, I also ordered the baked potato ....sadly received 4 very small "new potatoes" cut in half ! To be honest they were nice, but the baked potato I was expecting !
There were more exciting items on the menu which tempted me.Burrito, Quesadilla, some Louisiana dishes, NY strip, Ribeye etc.but I have learnt from experience to keep it simple when ordering non Polish food in Poland ,outside of major metropolitan hubs..it reduces the likely scenario of being disappointed. And based upon the results of ordering simple, I think I was right to do so this time.
The service was adequate and polite and in all we had a pleasant evening, BUT go there knowing that it is an adaptation of American food, not the real McCoy.

Pyszne zupy, dobrze przyprawione. Bardzo dobra pizza na pysznym cieście. I do tego wino.... miła obsluga, średni czas oczekiwania. Z pewnością jeszcze tam zajrzymy
