The farm Lama San Giorgio is a 800 farmhouse restored respecting the original architecture. The Agriturismo has 21 rooms. At 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Polignano a Mare, 20 Km away airport of Bari and expecially 30 minutes from Alberobello and the Itria Valley, is therefore an ideal place to stay and visit Puglia. The farm is equipped with dining rooms where you can taste typical Puglia cuisine.

Reviewed By danmI1173OZCons: Water wasn't hot enough for a bath, road noise, bland dinner, "French" style split bed (two mattresses, with a gap in the middle to make a bed for two) Pros: cute place, very clean, abundant breakfast, excellent olive oil. Two people on a short road trip, we had booked this place specifically for the tub, but the water simply wasn't hot enough. It would run warm, then hot, then cold, then warm again. The temperature definitely wasn't stable enough for a shower, but wasn't hot enough for a bath either. Other guests, on the other side of the building, had the same problem. From the other reviews, it's clear they know about this problem, but it's still not resolved and refused to negotiate any kind of discount. The dinner is bland, but okay. If you want a cute, clean place and don't care about a bath and tasty dinner, it's fine.

Interesting stay
Reviewed By SEB3My comments echo those of the 13th October stayed in same room, it was basic and very clean with its own charm it was the original kitchen. A continental breakfast was brought to the room at a time of our choosing and a bowl of fruit was supplied when we arrived. I would agree coffee not particularly hot. Our host was a very interesting and courteous gentleman, I was with an Italian speaker so did not have any communication problems. We too had some very heavy footed people in the room above an could hear every movement. We too had great difficulty finding the B&B we didn't have a satnav and ended up being taken to the door by a very helpful resident having driven round and round the town eventually deciding you couldn't drive to it.

Reviewed By A207VSgiorgiotL’appartamento in cui abbiamo soggiornato era bellissimo. Pulitissimo e ben arredato. Straconsigliato per la posizione e per la qualità della struttura. I gestori presenti e molto gentili. Per la colazione, inclusa, siamo stati mandati in un bar nelle vicinanze. Anche qui ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo consiglio come ottima base di partenza per visitare le zone circostanti.

Meravigliosa Puglia. B&B fantastico.

Invece, Nicola, da premuroso e appassionato padrone di casa ha fatto di tutto per rendere una vacanza come se si fosse a casa propria. Viaggio di due famiglie (9 persone in tutto) divise in parte nelle camere poste al piano superiore e in un organizzatissimo loft posto al piano terra fronte strada ma non molto trafficata. Colazione e stuzzichini dolci e salati disponibili. Se richiesto è possibile richiedere qualche cornetto fresco che vi viene gentilmente recapitato in camera. Location pulita, strategicamente ben posizionata (Rutigliano, di fatto è un po' il baricentro di tutta la regione e da qui è possibile raggiungere tutti i luoghi più caratteristici ed importanti della regione in poco tempo). Pur avendo intrapreso da poco questa strada, il buon Nicola riesce a soddisfare qualsiasi necessità dell'ospite e rende il soggiorno un momento davvero molto gradevole. Felicissimo di aver trovato questa location quasi per caso che sarà d'ora in poi il mio riferimento per la Puglia.
