Family introduced us to this fabulous restaurant. We were wowed by their Shrimp Scampi, Veal Parmesan, Baked Ziti and Meatballs and Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad. Our wait person was friendly and attentive. Giuseppe's is absolutely on our "must-do" list for our next visit to Lake Anna.

Disgusting filled with flies and my blizzard was the worse one I have ever had. Not to mention it was half melted and had I flipped my cup over it would have fell out! The lady that made it was rude. The other guy behind the counter was so nice I felt bad for him because he was doing all the work and there was a lot of people in line. I originally wanted a beef hot dog but the flies made me change that real quick! This place was gross!

A bland setting conceals a really good Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu and great prices. We had a sampler platter (very good, but so much we had to take about half home), burrito and enchilada platters. All very good with interesting salsa served with the chips. Service was quick and pleasant

The Timber's is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT as of November 1, 2012 While this restaurant has been around for quite awhile, it is now owned by Vito and Josephine Amato. Vito and I have worked in the food service industry for over 25 years committed to serving only the finest foods, made with the freshest ingredients. All of our sauces are made from scratch and every dish is made to order from scratch. We have always been interested in food, our other passion is customer service, which is the essence of food service. The menu at The Timbers has been refreshed and updated to appeal to old regulars and newcomers alike. Additionally, we will create two different specials per day. The restaurant also features a full service bar with happy hour specials. We would like to welcome you to our family friendly restaurant in Ladysmith, Virginia. Bring your friends, family, and of course your appetite. Buon Appetito!
We've traveled this portion of I-95 more times than I care to remember. It was time for dinner, so we thought we'd give Timbers a try. As another reviewer noted, it is listed on the "Food this exit" blue sign you see along interstate highways, and it wasn't a chain. The crowd was moderate, and we were offered a seat in either the bar area or the dining area (we chose dining area). We were also offered our choice of either a table or a booth (we took a booth). I ordered the 10 oz sirloin, baked potato & side salad. My wife ordered the pan-seared scallops, with mashed potatoes and a side salad. We both had water to drink, as it was in the 90's outside. The salads were small, w/ salad dressing served in a small cup on the side. My wife was pleased to see that, though it wasn't specified on the menu, she was served (larger) sea scallops as opposed t the smaller bay scallops. I ordered my steak medium well, but it seemed to me when it arrived, it was more medium rare. The waitress immediately took it back to be cooked some more. The waitress was pleasant, professional & attentive. As another reviewer noted, the place itself seems to be sort of new, w/ wooden beams exposed. They specialize in pizza & Italian food, but there is a good variety of standard American fare. The walls were decorated w/ historic photos of the area. Since we travel this stretch of I-95 often, we may find ourselves back at Timers in the future.

Being part of a truck stop, I wondered how this Golden Corral would fare. Though it was busy, the servers were doing a great job tending their customers. The food on the buffet bars was plentiful. Despite the large number of people in the restaurant, the floors were surprisingly clean. Restrooms are located in the mini-mart section of the truck stop outside the Golden Corral doors to the right.

Our waitress was nice, but the service was slow - what is up that Denny's always has the slowest service, no matter where you go? Anyway, the AARP discount is always welcome and helps make the wait easier. We had a simple breakfast and it was adequate, and the coffee good. this Denny's is attached to a gas station.

Ordered the general chicken and chicken lo mein as we usually do....the chicken was like cardboard and the lo mein was weird...almost sour and bitter...threw it all out. Won't be back for a while. Rather drive to Bowling Green and try China Star again. Getting too expesive not to be good. Maybe it was just a fluke but left a bad taste in my mouth- literally!

Ever since Pinkadilly closed in Fredericksburg, we have needed a place for tea in the area. Our options have been Winchester or Culpeper..Too far for me! I was thrilled to see a coming soon sign on Ladysmith Road and started following the soon to be tearoom. My three daughters and I opted for tea on 7/17, one day after opening. We were not disappointed. The place is a cluster of small rooms elegant yet shabby chic. The service was excellent. There are about 20 or so choices for tea. One daughter and I chose the English Breakfast. We were each served our own beautiful China pot. The tea was perfect. My other two opted for the pink tea (lemonade) and again, two pots were emptied. We each went with the tea for one, which included two scones. The vanilla was amazing with a littled clotted cream while the chocolate chunk fit well with the lemon curd, if you can believe that! Since we were not sharing, our tea food was served on an individual plate which was so much nicer than worrying about who had which sandwich. They served full size sandwiches, which is odd, but I asked if we could have a variety instead and that wasn't a problem. We were served curry egg, herb cream cheese, cucumber with butter, and a chicken salad with walnuts and grapes. Also on the plates were cheeses and veggies. Oh and a pie crust pastry thing that was amazing! I truly enjoyed this visit and have plans to go again on Friday and Sunday, with friends. It's that good! I'm going to see about hosting my daughters birthday party here too. Loved it!

I can be a harsh critic when it comes to pizza. Truthfully though, it only takes a good crust, a zippy sauce, and some good cheese to make me happy. This pizza is your typical Domino's but if you haven't had it in awhile, you should try it. The sauce is actually pretty good. I love the choices of crust. The pizza is made quickly, too. Plus, they have some great sandwiches...and pasta bread bowls are YUM.

This place is your typical fast food restaurant. For those that like this sort of thing, the food is adequate, but not good. Roast beef is very bland and the drinks are typical found in this type of restaurant. It is good when on the road and needing a quick lunch, but do not go out of your way to get there. Pricey for what you get.
