Stayed for a night during Semana Santa and it was just what I needed. It was clean, quiet, and cheap. I think there are rooms with private baths and others without, so check that before reserving. I had a private bath and it was very nice and clean. The beds in my room were two singles, and comfortable enough. I thought it might be louder in the evening but it wasn't. Don't expect much from reception, they're just there to check you in.

First the Pros - tiles on the wall make it look quaint. Great location close to the old town, cathedral, Parque Maria Luisa and eateries. Shower was very hot. Free internet The Cons are numerous - I may forget a few. The smell in the room was horrendous. It was particularly bad when you walked into the room after being out. When you got used to it the smell was really only noticeable when you went into the bathroom. It made us want to avoid going to the toilet or having a shower. It mostly came up from the bidet - trying to block it with towels did not help. It could have been cleaner overall. The rooms were not cleaned or bins emptied at all (3 days) although every day they gave you new towels and toilet paper - did not remove the dirty towels. Beds (we had 2 twins) were amazingly uncomfortable and we prefer hard beds! We had sore backs and hips from the first night. The pillow is very hard and high which made sleeping difficult and caused sore necks. Staff don't speak English which is ok but they did not seem to care or want to assist. Lugging heavy bags upstairs - no assistance offered and they appeared impatient for us to get up the stairs so they could give us the room key. Noisy carries affecting sleep when other patrons come home or are just talking. It cost. It is a budget hotel (we have no problems with basics) but we are sitting in a hotel which cost 10 euros more total for the 3 nights and you cannot compare at all. Very poor value for money.

My mom and I enjoyed our stay at Pension Azahar. We booked a private ensuite with two twin beds. The room was a little small but comfortable enough for a 2-night stay. Ana, the receptionist who met us, was very welcoming and gracious. She even walked us through a map of Sevilla with recommendations for tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The hostel was located in a very convenient location and is within walking distance to almost everything. Reception is open from 9am-9pm.

Booked a private room with own bathroom at this pension for two reasons (1) the price and (2) vicinity to Ramón Sanchez pizjuan stadium. For the price you cannot expect much, it is a room, with a double bed and shower room. The room itself is a fair size and has ample storage and room to move around. The bathroom was big enough and the shower nice and hot. A/c worked perfectly and everything was clean. Staff are good, between their poor English and my poor Spanish we got everything done. However, the bad points are local noise from the streets and people coming and going all night in the hostel but these are to be expected. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but for one night was more than what I required . In all I’d book again to stay here

Situated in the center of Sevilla, not far from the Cathedral and Giralda (approx. 10 minutes walking) and also Plaza de Toros. The owner/staff was very helpfull, he give us the map of the city and explained where to go to see a flamenco without a reservation. He explained also about where to park in the public space of Plaza de Armas, not far from the Pension (the street was narrow and there were no parking spots). Because the temperature was low we turned on the air conditioning device which worked excellent. The room was clean and also the bathroom. It has an internal lovely courtyard ("patio") which is nice to stay and relax.

Very affordable, but otherwise hard to recommend. Old beds with pokey springs, thin sheets, and thin walls so that you hear your neighbours. We were lucky to have room 10, which is on its own on the upper terrace.

El señor que nos atendió muy amable. Nos dieron la habitación con baño exterior (no compartido pero que realmente está al lado) y sin aire acondicionado. Cocina y salón como zonas comunes. Todo limpio. El desayuno es con un ticket en un bar abajo.

Exceptionally clean with parking available on street (first come first served), it was the perfect place for us to stay. Walking distance to the center and in a neighborhood with plenty of shops and bars, this place was a real nice surprise. Would definitely come back.
