Very often on a weekend night (and sometimes during the week), we go to Black Lab. Meals are consistently excellent and portions are very generous, and the servers are well-versed on the various menu items and always happy to help in any way possible.
This Saturday night my husband and I had Bronzino--and it's one of the best preparations we've had. It came with delicious creamy polenta--no lumps. To start we had the house smoked trout appetizer which was excellent, and the pork spring rolls, also excellent.
We were very full this week and didn't order dessert but my favorite is the tres leches cake. It's excellent and I highly recommend it. The carrot cake is also excellent.
The restaurant is a BYOB and if you go on certain nights there is a $25 3 course meal offering 3 choices of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Wonderful value and always delicious.
Highly recommended. Keeps getting better and better!

Nelson's Ice Cream Store is currently open under the management of the Nelson Family. Patrick and Amanda Nelson are doing the daily operations of the store. We have updated the interior of the building and have been busy since Memorial day! Currently you can choose your favorite cone and then pick from over 30 flavors of 16% butter fat ice cream made at our factory across the street. We also make Banana splits, a variety of sundae's with baked goods made on the property by Amanda Nelson. If you want to take home your favorite flavor you can purchase many of the flavors in half gallons, pints, and novelties. The Nelson's have also installed an old fashioned original soda fountain and will make your favorite soda with one or more of the many flavors they offer on the flavor board. We are so proud and thank our faithful customers who voted for us in the 2013 PHL17 Hot Lists contest winning us 2nd place out of over 40 other shops ! Credit cards accepted
How much fresher can you get with the ice cream factory a cross the street, check out their take outs, good deals, what a selection, so many ways they serve but I enjoyed the pretzel cone made my night

The portions here are large. The food is satisfying. The service feels like you are at home. It’s no wonder that there is always a line outside this restaurant on a Saturday morning. If you want a breakfast that will fill you up, this is the place!

We were invited to my nephews wedding this weekend. We showed at 4pm to an open bar. The bartenders were run ragged but able to keep up with the demand. The food was excellent.Thank you for your review! So glad our bartenders kept up and that you enjoyed dinner. Please come visit for dinner sometime!

The Railroad Street Bar & Grill has a tavern like atmosphere but a number of pinball machines to add an entertainment factor. The draft beer selection is very good (30+) from a variety of craft breweries, and the menu interesting with a number of unique grilled cheese sandwiches. My personal grilled cheese favorite is the Carolina with pulled pork, provoline and cole slaw.
Prices are reasonably and the service good at least in the bar area. This is a great place to go after playing golf for some adult beverages and food.

My wife and I had breakfast on Sunday at the Spring Ford Diner and we were not disappointed. My wife had a omelette and totally enjoyed it. The omelette was filled with peppers, onions, cheese and ham and served with hash browns and toast. I had blueberry pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were packed with blueberries and were sweet. The bacon was crisp and not over done. The service was first rate with just the right amount of attention without being bothersome. We will need to try lunch and/or dinner.

I always loved the donuts here, but unfortunately they bring them in here, and they are expensive, my daughter stopped and picked some up for me the other day, some were not as fresh as other and the next day they were a hard as rocks, very unhappy, they apparently are not all fresh that day.

Visited with a bunch of guys from nearby development. Shortly after being seated, orders were taken. I had read their menu online and was aware they features a kielbasa (from Czerw's) sandwich so I knew what I wanted. After most of the others were served and halfway through their lunches, I was told they had no kielbasa and asked if I would want something else. Knowing that, by the time I decided and my lunch was delivered everyone else would be finished, I said no.
Many of the others seemed to enjoy their lunch, but there is absolutely no excuse to make someone wait more than 20 minutes to inform them that they would have to order something else because they had run out of a their selection. They had a big crowd so I guess it didn't pay for them to worry about a single customer. There are too many other good Italian restaurants in the area to give them another shot.

Excellent Italian food, in an out of the way location. This place is well worth finding.
A BYOB Italian restaurant in quaint Spring Mount. I have been going to Johnny's one to three times per month for several years. The food is excellent, and the portions are generous. I always take home enough for one, or sometimes two meals. Entrees include salad, or soup (in season), and a side of pasta. Broccoli or spinach can be substituted for pasta.
Johnny's seats about 34 to 36, and is almost always busy when I go on Saturday evenings.
Stop by after winter skiing, or summer zip-lining at nearby Spring Mountain. Or work up an appetite by walking on the Perkiomen Trail.

This place surprised me.
Came here after visiting the Minecraft convention. The place was a surprise. There is a lot of breweries nowadays with various atrisanal beer concoctions but here the beer was a compliment to the food that is being served in the restaurant, which is exactly how it should be.
We came in with 4 small kids but it was fairly early so no rush yet. Kids decided that they wanted fries, burgers and chicken fingers, so as soon as they got them they were happy and bouncing around.
The adults decided that we should just get burgers. So we got burgers, and unlike most places similar to the Iron Hill the burgers usually came out overdone. Not this time. This time they were perfect with seasoning and Blue cheese crumble. I've not had a better burger in quite some time.
I think that this location is definitely worth a visit.
