We enjoyed our lunch here on a rainy afternoon... interior decor is particularly tasteful, as is the innovative Chinese food... her chicken with vegetables was particularly light and flavorful; my 'special lo mein' noodle dish with shrimp, pork & chicken was colorful and tasty...both portions were plenty to share. The owner greets guests (and speaks English) and the servers are welcoming and friendly... multi-lingual menu helps, too.

I've eaten here a few times and been impressed with almost everything. The mussels are excellent, and the smoked salmon toast is delicious. I've tried the baked fish in salt and although a little expensive I think it was worth it. The staff are nice...MoreDear Client, Thank you very much for your very nice words about our Restaurant el Embarcadero and about our food and service. We are very happy that you enjoyed it and we hope to welcome you back soon. Best regards, Sophie

La Dolce Vita is a small Italian trattoria, located in the old town of Rota a few meters from the marina. It has a great team, a good selection of Italian wines, pastas and homemade desserts in a cozy place.
After Reading good reviews on this place my wife and I decided to visit for dinner. It was a few minutes drive form where we were staying in Costa Bellena.
This is small restaurant - in fact most of the Seating is outside. We sat on a table on the outdoor plaza that had a beautiful view of the harbor and Cadiz across the bay.
The service and food were very good. The prices were very reasonable and the small wine list had some great local choices. It was a very quiet and scenic dinner experience. I would recommend this highly.

O'Grady's has been in business for over 20 years. It is the only Irish owned Irish bar within 100 miles of Rota. We have 3 beers on tap and 16 in bottle (many of which are Irish, American & Spanish craft beers). Great reputation for serving the best bar food in the local area. Dishes include great burgers, shepherds pie, delicious chicken wings, spicy chicken fajitas, etc.. Big mix of clients including Spanish, American, Irish, German, etc...English & Spanish spoken. TV coverage of all major sports, e.G. Rugby, soccer, NFL, gaelic football, hurling, etc...
Not fancy, but the burger is the best in Spain. The bahn mi Sandwich is seriously spicy Thai flavor. The wings are crispy and true buffalo flavor - the Thai ones are also tasty. Great beer selection, Guinness on tap. Fun atmosphere. Thanks Abe259 for the great review. Glad you enjoyed your time in the bar.

Restaurant Badulaque Rota. A delicious place overlooking the sea. Local food with flair. Regional dishes and abroad. Traditional specialties with the fantasy of the new Spanish cuisine, recognized worldwide for its quality and fantasy. Our fish is always very fresh and well prepared. Many coustumers enjoy the dishes of our creative cuisine as: Octopus, grilled using pineapple of Pines. The soft and Aromatic resin pineapple flavor, is simply fantastic. Tuna Sashimi, (Bluefin tuna center prepared to order), is great too. Tuna fish come directly from the Barbate Alamadraba. You have several specialties to try like: Turban of Gilt-head bream, garlic grilled fish, stuffed with king prawns and fresh cream. Seafood Paella, or the stunning Calamari Black Rice. Etc.Ok, if you don't like fish, you still have plenty of possibilities:Tagliatelle al cartoccio (Baked-in-foil pasta with stir-fried seafood), Toasted bread with goat cheese and caramelized onions, Wellington sirloin (Pork cut with foie and ham in a puff pastry). Black pudding Nachos (Fried rice pudding with sweet peppers sauce, cheese and candied apple). Argentinean rib-eye steak...The restaurant offers the most comprehensive selection of quality wines and spirits in Rota. Red wines, premium Gins, matured Rons...
Great spot on the water in Rota for both lunch and dinner. Excellent dishes including Spainish traditionals to steak and seafood. Full bar and staff speak great English.

Had to eat here owing to appalling situation in the Barceló hotel. We were welcomed and had a superb dinner. Would seriously recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I have passed by for almost 4 years! Always full! Finally I stopped to eat there. Fresh seafood and great polite service. We had Croquettes de rabo, boiled Prawns, salcicion de marisco, and fried Acedias. All Delicious! Very clean.. Thank you for providing this service. Great Spanish cuisine.

Pizza y comida casera estilo new yorkino. Para lo sepas - NO HAY COMIDA SIN GLUTEN. Es un opinion de un cliente que no puedo cambiar. WE DO NOT HAVE GLUTEN FREE FOOD. for some reason this cannot be changed in categories as it was uploaded by a customer, so i am informing you here.
My favorite pizza place in the area. Good prices, nice staff. The wait for Delivery can be quite long at the weekend but that's the same everywhere. My husband thinks the tomato sauce on the pizza is sweet but I like it. Good, thin crust. The fries are really good with their homemade ranch, and the wings have been good too. Nice cocktails. My fave is the pepperoni and chicken calzone.

In the historic center of Rota, you can enjoy homemade food and local fresh fish, also you can taste the best wines of the area.
Had the seafood paella for 2 people for 20 euro and a bottle of house wine. Fast service and friendly staff. Thank you for hosting us.

Found myself here on a business trip. Thought I should check out this place. Ordered. The service was less than good and the food was below average. My meal was cold and very bland. I'm not saying stay away, Just be for warned.
