We have a choice of single, double and family rooms. All rooms are en-suite, equipped with tea & coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, most rooms have free Wi-fi, hair-drier, iron and ironing board are available. We are in the centre of the village and within walking distance of the Fairy Glen.
Very mixed feelings about this little place. On arrival very friendly member of staff checked me in .Our room was at the very top of the house ,I am not sure that its accessible to Those with a disability .The room was clean and bright and beds where comfortable. Tea coffee and water was provided. When I tried to take a shower the thermostat was broken and honestly the water would have scalded ! I reported this to a member of staff and the manager came to report he couldn't fix the problem ,there was no offer of a change of room ,so no shower at all. We are in the restaurant on Sat nite the service and food where very good and we enjoyed starters and main course. It should be noted that the accommodation is not in the same building as the restaurant and bar but accessed by a separate door in the street . Breakfast on Sunday morning was a disappointment, we sat down and where offerred tea and coffee and then waited for 50 full mins on our Cooked breakfast which would be excessive even on a busy morning but there was around three other tables to be catered for .when breakfast arrived there was no apology for the delay .Food was fine and hot when we did receive it.

Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Seaview Guesthouse is the perfect base from which to explore the spectacular Mourne countryside. With six beautifully appointed and spacious ensuite bedrooms combined with unrivalled guesthouse facilities, you can be assured of a warm welcome and excellent service every time you visit.
Martina and Brendan are wonderful hosts who make you feel very welcome. The two of them along with their son Patrick couldn’t do enough. Our only complaint was the weather which meant we couldn’t explore the beautiful surroundings. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. We just can’t wait to go back and explore the views, area and walks. Marty and Lorraine

Had the most wonderful stay at The Sands B&B in picturesque Rostrevor, Co Down. The B&B is just beautiful, lovely for a quiet stay and you can check out the live music sessions in town. Anne and John are so welcoming and nothing is too much, we had a beautiful breakfast, which set us up for the day! The views from the B&B out to the lough were really lovely. Our room was beautifully laid out, en-suite and the amenities include gorgeous natural toiletries, tea/coffee and tv/wifi. I would definitely recommend booking a wee break there as it was a wholely enjoyable experience. Many thanks.

We have just returned from an overnight stay in the oystercatcher. I can't recommend this guesthouse highly enough. Spotless clean, comfortable and great food. The highlight of the stay was the host. Such a warm friendly person. She greeted us at the door as we arrived, showed us to our room and explained all At breakfast next morning she chatted away to us as if part of the family and made us feel really welcome, anything we needed was not a problem We will difinately stay here again when back in the area

Lovely room with fantastic view over Carlingford Lough and Mountain. Very quiet, well-equipped and comfortable. For walkers, a very steep climb at the back of the property gives access to a pleasant traffic-free 2-mile track into Rostrevor. Martin and Patricia are excellent, welcoming hosts. Breakfast choice is basic but good quality and plentiful - it always set me up for the day ahead.
