We had a booked online large party of 15 for Saturday Lunch. When we arrived they had the table for us, however it wasn't written in the normal reservation book. I had the Texas Burger with Fries, very nice and came with Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce.Not a bad experience, I think they just needed more staff to accommodate the numbers customers they had to cover.

Dinner on a busy Friday evening. Slow service and it would be profitable for them to have a waiter for the diners. However: the food was so superb weâll be back at a quieter time. Reeeeally good pizza

Nine of visited us in September 19 for Sunday roast and we were well looked after. The roast was excellent, the meat very tender, vegetables and potatoes lovely. Have been to the Rose and Bowl too many times to count.I have been to other restaurants but always keep going back because in my opinion it is the best eating place around.The state are lovely and keep looking after you. I have also had mum and dadâs birthday parties there and both parents funeral wakes. The staff all looked after us very well I would recommend anytime to anyone wanting a good meal outThank you for our fab 5 star review.I will pass your lovely comments back to our team.We love to hear the feedback from our customers , so it's nice to know we are still getting things right. First time diners here and was very happy with everything. The food and staff excellent. Had the salt and pepper squid best Iâve tasted and I have tasted it many times had the chicken ham and leak pie again very tasty. Meal for two with starters and mains with two small bottles of prosecco £49. Would recommend and return.

Saturday afternoon. Out for a few drinks and feeling peckish. This place has a largish menu, with a specials board, so there's plenty to choose from. We had scampi (which apparently was more than acceptable) and the home made meat pie. Fab service, great food, lovely people and very reasonably priced. We'd definitely come here to eat again.

We went to this lovely resteraunt on a whim the other day and found it changed from pub grub into a real gem. The food was superb and the atmosphere charming. I had a steak which was melt in the mouth and my partner had the fish and chips with a pea puree he enjoyed every mouthful. The sweets were equally marvellous.
