The food here is fantastic with plenty of choice, so much so that we keep returning to try different things. Service is friendly and presentation of food is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. The fact that this cafe is nearly always full just shows how great it is. The only downside is that itâs quite small so the tables are quite close to each other, however this has never been a problem for us. Oh and the freshly made cakes and desserts are wonderful!

This is a really wonderful family run hotel which we can recommend without any hesitation whatsoever. From our first contact by email to the lovely goodbye it was a first class experience. It is idealy situated and although close to a main thoroughfare quiet and secluded. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with every one could need provided for - we even had a sauna in the bathroom. The bar area is very comfortable and we both enjoyed a delicious - Friday Night Special - evening meal. Breakfast was equally as good, freshly cooked to order, and plentiful. Very friendly and welcoming and would certainly stay there again in the future - actually we decided we would return to discover the Rossendale Valley and stay at the Sykeside.Certainly deserves five stars in our estimation.

Saturday afternoon. Out for a few drinks and feeling peckish. This place has a largish menu, with a specials board, so there's plenty to choose from. We had scampi (which apparently was more than acceptable) and the home made meat pie. Fab service, great food, lovely people and very reasonably priced. We'd definitely come here to eat again.

What a little gem this café is ! A friend and I met there for lunch to have a good 'catch up'. The coffee was the best I've ever had and I was served a lovely lunch, as too was my friend. The décor and ambience within this café is superb. The next time,my friend and I have decided we will walk there, so that we can sample the large selections of gins they have on offer! :) This is a wheelchair friendly café.Well done Café Pearsons.Thank you so much for your lovely comments and we look forward to seeing you soon x

Informal Gastro Style Pub & Restaurant serving fresh food from a contemporary menu in the borough of Bury & Rossendale. Serving premier wines, spirits and beers as well as Real Cask ales. Modern and contemporary interior for a relaxed dinning experience.
We went to this lovely resteraunt on a whim the other day and found it changed from pub grub into a real gem. The food was superb and the atmosphere charming. I had a steak which was melt in the mouth and my partner had the fish and chips with a pea puree he enjoyed every mouthful. The sweets were equally marvellous. I would certainly have no hesitation of recommending this lovely resteraunt.Hi J8152KHmichaelsWe are absolutely thrilled to hear that your chance visit turned into a memorable experience, thank you for taking the time to leave us a sterling review! We have recently recruited a new kitchen team, so it's wonderful to hear that they are succeeding in putting their stamp on our fantastic food offering and it's being enjoyed by all our guests. We have as a family been visiting Corner Cafe for many years, I can honestly say it is one of the best value cafes around, wether you go for breakfast, lunch, fresh soup, or homemade cakes you won't be disappointed. Jane and her wicked sense of humour add to the ambience and the price makes it affordable to all, and it's fully family friendly.

Weâd arranged to meet up with family here for a catch-up. On recommendation we decided to try the afternoon tea. It was a nice touch to be able to chose your own sandwiches and cake. It also came with a small cup of home made soup. We were very impressed with everything and thought it was good value for money at £13.50 per head.

Tea room/cafe serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Homemade soup, scones and cupcakes. Eat in or takeaway.
My friend took me here for a spot of Afternoon Tea. The place is cozy and the owners are very friendly. They have the picnic tables for the Afternoon Tea which was all presented very nicely, however, some of the food was not fresh and a bit stale.

I have visited the tea rooms on a number of occasions and as my mum was visiting for the weekend I booked afternoon tea using a Groupon voucher. We arrived early which didnât appear to be a problem and we were promptly seated. We had our Prosecco and then our tea and food arrived. Although at first sight it didnât look enormous we were stuffed by the end of it so it was just right. Thank you.
