What a little gem this café is ! A friend and I met there for lunch to have a good 'catch up'. The coffee was the best I've ever had and I was served a lovely lunch, as too was my friend. The décor and ambience within this café is superb. The next time,my friend and I have decided we will walk there, so that we can sample the large selections of gins they have on offer! :) This is a wheelchair friendly café.Well done Café Pearsons.Thank you so much for your lovely comments and we look forward to seeing you soon x

Visited this restaurant on a week day, the place was empty when we arrived so we were surprised when were taken up stairs to a table. We assumed this was so casual drop in diners could see if the restaurant was busy or not. Decor really nice and tasteful in greys, loved the industrial lighting and on point vases, floral arrangement etc. My friend and i opted for the main menu as neither of us fancied anything on the special menu.My friend had the prawn & smoked salmon starter , I opted for the black pudding, we had the smaller portion for our mains, my friend the meat pie, chips and mushy peas, and I had the fish and chips with mushy peas. Both very nice and hot, my fish was especially good, lovely piece of fish and not over battered. We both declined desserts. As we left we found that the restaurant was very busy& all areas seemed to be full and as this was a weekday they are doing something right. Our bill was reasonable and we vowed to re- visit. The young staff members were very pleasant and helpful, I just wish the more mature lady was a bit more engaging and welcoming..
We found this place by chance and it was a very happy accident! Itâs got a modern friendly atmosphere and interior, good music playing but nothing too loud that you couldnât hear the person next to you. The drinks were on point and thereâs a great selection of tapas style food! We gorges on about 6 different things - highly recommend the ribs. And they do dessert - just not on the menu. Chocolate fudge cake was a great end to an awesome evening. Check it out next time youâre in town, you wonât be disappointed.

The Fire Pit is a bar and grill, serving a range of steaks, burgers and much more...Our signature steak on the stone is very popular and the bar stocks a variety of beers, wines and spirits.
i had the fillet steak on the hot stone, you can cook it just the right way. Restaurant didn't have much of an atmosphere, although we were early in the evening. There was three of us sat at a table for six, didn't see many other smaller tables. Had to chase to pay the bill after the waitress forgot to bring it over. These are all minor issues, and the food outweighed these. Would definitely be going back, very reasonably priced

Visited here last week to celebrate my birthday with 8 others. We chose from a mixture of menus, including the children's menu. We couldn't fault any of the food, or the way we were looked after, however we felt that we had a very long wait before our food arrived. A couple of our group were also quite cold. I enjoyed mussels, spaghetti con gamberoni and creme bruise ( with a candle in and happy birthday sung)

Informal Gastro Style Pub & Restaurant serving fresh food from a contemporary menu in the borough of Bury & Rossendale. Serving premier wines, spirits and beers as well as Real Cask ales. Modern and contemporary interior for a relaxed dinning experience.
We went to this lovely resteraunt on a whim the other day and found it changed from pub grub into a real gem. The food was superb and the atmosphere charming. I had a steak which was melt in the mouth and my partner had the fish and chips with a pea puree he enjoyed every mouthful. The sweets were equally marvellous. I would certainly have no hesitation of recommending this lovely resteraunt.Hi J8152KHmichaelsWe are absolutely thrilled to hear that your chance visit turned into a memorable experience, thank you for taking the time to leave us a sterling review! We have recently recruited a new kitchen team, so it's wonderful to hear that they are succeeding in putting their stamp on our fantastic food offering and it's being enjoyed by all our guests.
