One of Long Island's most popular neighborhood restaurants, Mim's serves robustly flavored, seasonal American cuisine in a relaxed setting of casual elegance. We offer a full lunch and dinner menu with daily specials in the dining room and the bar. Behind the bar, an outstanding wine list, local micro-brews and a large selection of hand-crafted specialty cocktails are offered. Private parties, large groups & special events are welcome, with private dining & event space available. Mim's is known for welcoming guests with excellent value and warm hospitality.
I’ve been to Mims over ten times now. I have yet to have a bad meal there; their food is great. I highly recommend their quinoa burger with sweet potato fries and their Mac and cheese. You can’t go wrong with either. Although the food is very very good, their service is awful. Every time I go, my family and I have to wait extememely long for our food to come out, and sometimes it has come out cold. When we tell the waiters about this, they shrug and do not even seem to care. It’s a shame becuase the food is good, but this has kept my family and I from coming back. If you don’t care about waiting a long time for your food, and it possibly being cold then you can get a good meal here.

All made freah and amazing. The main...MoreWe are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience at Besito. Looking forward to seeing you again soon

I have been coming to Toku for years and must say that each time is better than the last. From the cocktails, ambiance and menu they are the best sushi in Long Island. Always great for a large group with a variety of asian fusion options. The Tuna Tataki Salad is a favorite, along with any type of sushi. A must try!

Love the Philly Fluff from this bakery. Their lemon pound loaf smelled amazing. Too bad I was too full from dinner to try this time.

Not cooked to your ordered specs? send it back . Coffee, very good. Specify what you want. They will make it! and they make it delicious!

"Tapas and more by brothers from Spain" Sangria 71 serves a large variety of authentic Tapas, Sangria and Savory Paellas in festive casual atmosphere.
The food ( third time visit) was very good. Unfortunately, the service was irregular. Not sure what to make of it. With a party of 4 or more, the restaurant has to figure an 1 1/2 to 2 hour dinner is fairly common with drinks, appetizers and dessert. Yet, the service which initially was right on top of things with refilling the water glasses and plate removal became overkill. This included the waiter as well and even more so. In Spain and other Latin American countries, It's almost an insult to be given the check when you didn't ask for it. Or for that matter, asking are you ready to order repeatedly every second. Granted it was a Saturday night, but it still left a bad taste. Worth the 2 star downgrade.

A neighborhood staple offering very expensive appetizing and average bagels. You know exactly what you are getting and are rarely surprised. The tuna is good. The chunky white fish salad is good, although often a bit salty. lox is very good. And the lines on Saturdays or before a major holiday are uncomfortably long. But, they are one of the few kosher restaurants offering appetizing left, and we need this place to be successful. So we tolerate the lines.

I had heard good things about this restaurant so I decided to try it out and it was really excellent... the food tastes very authentic. I love the salmon kebab it's very fresh... the meat is also great and I don't even gravitate towards meat dishes...all of the flavors are well balanced... I love this restaurant and I would definitely recommend it!

DiMaggio's Trattoria serves Old World traditional dishes in a friendly, casual, atmosphere. We are committed to preparing food with only the finest and freshest ingredients. Open 7 days a week lunch and dinner
Although it is one of those places long revered by locals, if you find yourself in the Port Washington, NY area around lunch or dinner time, you should give this restaurant a try.
Their pasta dishes are authentic and the tastes ring true. I am a big fan of the Tortellini en Brodo, the Lasagne della Nonna and the Caesar Salad. In fact, I am not above ordering the salad to bring home when I am expecting luncheon guests; I put it in my own salad bowl to serve and it is so much better than anything I could concoct myself. But I digress; my husband loves the Chicken Scarpariello (a lot), and any dish that includes Italian sausage. Descriptions aside, many of the dishes offered harken back to memories of Grandma and Sunday dinners with the family which, for me, is a good thing.
At the risk of never getting a seat without a long wait, I am happy to recommend this restaurant. We have been going there for a long time and are never disappointed with the food or the service.
Just a couple of notes: reservations cannot be made unless your group is 6 or more and parking can be tricky. There is a lot just a few steps away, but availability for that is varied, so check with the restaurant for time and availability.
