we enjoyed our lunch. This is not a low price option, but a good option. a burger will get in that 11 to 15 dollar range. all in all, good place to eat, but not on a budget

While this offers the traditional DQ menu...the significant difference is this DQ actually understands how to deliver quality prompt service to the customer. IT is always adequately staffed, food items are prepared and delivered in short order, and the soft ice cream is the best I have experienced at any DQ.

Not sure what we expected but we liked what we got. another small-town bar/restaurant attached to the bowling alley. Two burgers (one each), that came with crispy crinkle-fries (my husband was in heaven, especially when I gave him half my fries), the buns were toasted, the patties home-made.The service was good and we were not rushed. Waitress/bartender was an older lady who called everyone hon and a table full of guys "boys". Loved it. Nice place, not super-busy, but steady. Food was really good and teh prices were great. You should go check it out!

The Guest House is under new management. The staff and manager are extremely friendly. The service is quick and the staff watches and responds to your needs promptly.
The menu includes the breakfast menu all day, a wonderful selection of various sandwiches, and an evening meal special. I had some good Buffalo Wings (not easy to find in Roseau), a nice size side salad, and a great BLT. My wife enjoyed a walleye sandwich. Everything was very good and at affordable prices.

Gene's is a great gathering place to enjoy a great meal and ice cold beer. The menu has a limited selection of items. There is no deep fryer...so no french fries, but one can live without fries while enjoying one of the great burgers from their collection on the menu. Service can be slow, so be prepared to have patience...the burger is worth it. The wait staff is usually challenged to provide service to a large crowd with only one server. It is a place to enjoy yourself and the company of family/friends with you. Slow down and and enjoy yourself.

Jake's had been a long standing business in Roseau and has been our family favorite for years. If you prefer sandwiches, we all love the Great Canadian and the Italian Poor Boy. Breadsticks are great too! Only drawback is they don't take debit/credit cards but do have a cash machine onsite.

We arrived at this restaurant around 8pm. The rug by the door was folded up so you couldn't open the 2nd entrance door. The two employees unenthusiastically making out order. My husband & I received our sandwich, chip & drink workout a bag to carry it in. I've never been to a Subway where I had to carry my meal trying not to drop my food. I wouldn't go back.

I went to Bear and Bean Company for lunch with a friend. I had the noon special which was a grilled cheese sandwich and choice of soup. I chose the chicken wild rice with an ice tea to drink. The sandwich included my choice of two cheeses and choice of bread. I tried the swiss cheese and pepper jack on sourdough. The sandwich was excellent as was the soup. It was a rainy cool day so the noon special was spot on. Would I eat here again? Absolutely!

For several years, when the mood for Chinese overtook us, it meant driving to Steinbach, Manitoba (about an hours drive). When a relative of that family opened here in our town we were delighted. Kit and Wendy operate a very clean, spacious restaurant with a menu to suit most tastes - even those who want their food ultra spicy. Service is great and fast, prices are very reasonable.
We enjoy dining at the restaurant, but also appreciate being able to call in for take out orders. Portions are more than adequate, and often we are able to enjoy a second meal the next day.
While we most often dine there as a couple, we have also been part of groups as well.

A classic 1950's drive-in restaurant, complete with carhop service! Try one of our signature Hiboy or Loboy burgers or enjoy some fried chicken. If you're feeling adventurous order the gizzards, you will be pleasantly surprised! After your meal be sure to cool down with a delicious ice cream dessert. You can either enjoy your meal from the comfort of your car or sit at a picnic table in our shaded patio area. If you want take-out or to have your food ready when you arrive -- we take phone orders too!
Earl's is the summer time place to gather and enjoy good drive in food. We enjoyed our last meal of the season with fried chicken, fries, slaw, and Earl's wonderful potato salad. the car hoops that serve you provide friendly and timely service. We enjoyed our meal sitting on Earl's patio with sunny fall weather. Earl's also has a great selection of burgers, sandwiches, and other treats. We look forward to our first meal at Earl's next year.
