We've relied on the Unic when other places have been closed at the start and end of the season. Sometimes it's been great but the last couple of times it has not been up to standard... Stewed mussels, poor desserts... To counter that, the service from Roman has been very good, he's just been let down by the quality of the food. No doubt we'll go again but not in a hurry. It's a shame as its a good location and they have some great live music on a weekend. We hope they make a success and improve their offer.

We have been coming to Les Issambres for over 16 years and I can say this one of our best find ! The menu choice is ideal and prices are reasonable! I can honestly say this is one of the best marmite de pecheur I have tasted for years, my wife also said the same of the Faux Filet and she knows her steaks! Whilst there was only one person serving, she knew what she was doing and neglected no one, the chef knew his stuff and produced food which was exceptional. The cheese course was fantastic with a generous Salad and dressing was simple but tasty - honey tones. My wife loved her tarte au pomme with ice cream (sublime) and fresh cream it was not your standard. The biggest surprise was how reasonable the meal was was, oh and to finish the meal great coffee with marshmallows what a nice touch. Definitely a favourite of ours !!

This is our second visit to Les Planches. We had dinner here in Sunday 19th August 2018. We had reserved a table and were shown to the exact same table (31) we had sat at in 2017. A pure coincidence and amusing.The greeting was just as friendly as we had remembered it and frankly everything was as before... perfect. The surroundings and view is first class. The presentation, quality and the taste of the food is 5 star. This is high class but relaxed.We shared a starter of whitebait and crudete (planche aperitif) â¬19.A main of Tartare de Boeuf â¬26 and half cooked Tuna â¬36 which was served with one of the best risotto I have ever, ever tasted.We drank a bottle of Marquets Rosé â¬29We finished with Lâassortiment Gourmand â¬16 and a Coupe Williams â¬16.Everything was perfect.We will definitely return.

Great location, right on the beach with low price food and beer, Food quality compares with price, however well cooked and presented. This is a cheap eat for budget travellers, good service, friendly staff and used by locals. For foreigners, guests smoking at the tables can be uncomfortable but this is almost the norm for this type of bar/restaurant type venue in Les Issambres. Busy at peak times. Value for money.

Stayed in Bd de Roquebrune just above and popped in a few times last week.My wife had some wonderful cocktails while myself being boring stuck to lager.The staff were attentive and very helpful.Being now in our 50s it was a change from our norm but were made to feel at home.Thanks

A great restaurant which is located directly at the sea. Usually you would not expect such a great kitchen in a beach restaurant, but this is the opposite. We had Tuna Tataki, Salade Niçoise, Risotto and Linguine with truffles and dessert. We will definitely be back!

A truly great experience, where the full marks is a combo of good food and excellent service. Some places donât get it, while some do. We were here for lunch with a French friend who lives nearby. We had a calamari appetizer, fresh fish with ratatouille, mashed potatoes and risotto. We had the three small desserts and coffee-tea combination which was good. Only one person of the three had wine, the other water. Next time I will spend my money on something else! It was good and the service was ok. The view was fantastic! Our waiter did remove the water glasses and left wine glasses for those drinking water. I would expect more from a restaurant this expensive. Way overpriced!!!

We came here on a Saturday during the Summer. It was packed with the local Italian club but we were told that it may take a while, but we should relax and not worry about it. There was entertaining live music throughout the day and our waitress was very funny. After quite a long time our main courses arrived but during our wait we got drinks and bread to keep us going until the food came and when it came it was delicious! We all had pasta dishes and they were freshly made and it was the best pasta weâd eaten in a very long time! We then ordered dessert and we had amazing apple tart and tiramisu. This was an incredible restaurant with amazing live music and dedicated and hilarious staff! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone, except if youâre looking for a quick meal. If you come to this restaurant and are waiting a long time relax, donât worry and be patient because the food is more than worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing lunch and a brilliant experience. Hopefully we will be able to come again soon!thank you for the thought of having written to us, I was forced to make you wait a little because people were so many and I was trying to satisfy everyone in some way, my mother thanks you and certainly will not change the recipes will continue to cook as all Italian mothers do.until next time
