Rockland House is a large restaurant with a good menu and popular as a catering place
Rockland a House is a large location with many tables. This time I was the first to enter and sat anywhere. There is a soup, salad bar, and fresh bread at the far wall. There are always two choices of soup, by my choice is always the New England Clam Chowder. This is the best that I ever had. It is tasty, chunky, and meaty with lots of clams. The salad bar is colorful with fresh item sitting on top of ice. There are two types of bread offered. One is a soft onion type loaf, and the other is a more firm crust. One can have the soup and salad as a meal alone. Our server placed a dish of crackers and cheddar cheese onto the table. The cheddar cheese is better when smeared onto any of the breads. The menu offers many choices. The food has always been good at this location.I chose the veal Marsala. The sauce was tasty on top of two pieces with large mushrooms. The locations is clean, staff is friendly and do a good job, and the food is good. Worth the visit.

Been going here for a while now. In my opinion, the best place to go in Roscoe. The wings are really good. Pizza is good too. I feel it's a bit pricey. Decor is nice. But if the bar is crowded you will not be having a quiet meal in the dining room. Very wide open space. They recently expanded too. Have a pool table and dart board in the new area. It's nice. Friendly staff. Have met the owners a few times. Great couple. Wish them continued success.

What can I say about the Roscoe Diner? Who hasnât seen their bumper sticker on one of the tens of thousands of cars that have stopped by while traveling on the âquickwayâ since they opened in 1962? On our recent visit we were seated quickly and served a delicious breakfast by a very efficient waiter. Everything you expect in a diner along with reasonable prices. Even better yet, itâs easy on and easy off Rt. 17 from here.

We went here our last night in Roscoe.....but be advised, they are Not in Roscoe! that's just a mailing address. With curved glass windows looking out over the Beaverkill River, the setting was perfect. From the whole loaf of freshly baked bread, marvelous huge salad, ample wine fills to the huge stuffed pork chop and grilled pork tenderloin, dinner was marvelous. And then my wife had their bread! it was to die for. Great dinner!!
