My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch while I was mentally travelling down memory lane. My grandfather took my sister and I to this place throughout our childhood trips through VT/NH/MA. The food was just as tasty as always, great portions, affordable and staff was super friendly. Felt like locals.

Lots of choices for breakast - (egg sandwiches, etc), salads, sandwiches, pizza, full deli. Made in house! Some items made earlier in the day so you can get back on the road or made to order for you. Cider donuts, fresh breads, pies & cookies from their bakery. Maple bacon potato chips are my favorite! Fresh cider in season. Nursery and garden stand in season.

Full Service French Inspired Bistro. Serving Cuisine inspired by the season. Proudly sourcing local ingredients and minimally manipulating them to allow them to shine as they are.
Keep returning to meet different friends for lunch. Mind you, it takes over an hour for us to drive from the other side of Vermont, but we we never disappointed. Staff is professional, meals are fresh and delicious, and we cannot be more pleased every time.

Returned to this place after 5+ years of not being in the area on an early Friday afternoon. The place was empty, which should have been our first clue.We got our go-to favorites, a special and chick/bacon/ranch. They were okay but no where near as much toppings as in the past. Just enough to say it had everything on the special. Both were so salty you could barely taste the toppings. Prices were average. The dining room is in dire need of repair and/or upgrading. Tables and seats were worn and dirty. The carpet, well, I wonder when it was last cleaned. Dusty too. The mens bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Unclean, smoke stained, filthy.I would assume volume and little competion are the main reasons for the lack of improvements.

We were visiting from England and looking for somewhere to have lunch and chanced upon the Moon Dog. It was a good choice. Simply furnished with very helpful staff. The food was delicious. Very good vegetarian selection. Great coffee and we shared a huge brownie. Thanks, hopefully comeback one day

A Farmer-owned Restaurant featuring Farm-to-Table Comfort Food Classics with 16 Local Craft Beers on Tap. Family-Friendly, Casual setting with outdoor seating.
Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Two adults and one picky teen. Place spotless, comfortable and has a modern country vide. The women with glasses at the counter/bar was super nice and personable. Our teenage waitress was friendly and checked in with us at the right time and didnât hover over us.We ordered 3 sandwiches:⢠miso chicken⢠pork and pineapple ⢠chicken cordon blueAll were a great portion that included fresh cut fried and homemade dill pickles. All good.Only suggest would fried crispier. If I could I would of gave this restaurant a 4.5. Crispier fries and it would of been a perfect 5.

One owner hosts, the other cooks. The menu changes and it's amazing. Perfect temperature and taste. Your water glass never empties. You cannot go wrong here. They cater parties onsite & even offer cooking class evenings where we eat what we learned and cooked together. Right off exit 6 RT91.

Other than poorly done pizza, this was the only option in town on the night we chose to go. The setting is beautiful and simple, located in an old historical hotel. Only three tables were filled, so the ambience was quiet and nice, as my friend and I were there to catch up after a long time of not seeing each other. The service was prompt and the woman who seated us was friendly and full of smiles. Our waitress on the other hand never smiled once and looked really unhappy to be there. The food was a little disappointing. I had the mushroom and pea risotto. This dish really lacked flavor other than a very sharp and dry Parmesan cheese taste. The mushroom flavor was undetectable which was sad because that was the part I was looking forward to. My friend had the gnocchi, Which had a beautiful and flavorful mushroom sauce over it but the gnocchi was gummy and not good according to her. For dessert we had panna cotta with a fresh strawberry purée drizzle over it, which was outstanding!
