The Saturnia Spa is the ideal place where spending an amazing getaway. On your arrival, you will be welcomed by mamma Livia e by Roberta who will help you to discover the delights of Aia della Colonna. The Agritourism, with its 6 bedrooms and 2 apartments, called "Libellula" [The Dragonfly] and "Melograno" [Pomegranate] with private bathrooms and independent entrances, is warmly welcoming just like the smiles which you will be surrounded by.

Reviewed By cctgrt iBeautiful farmhouse in a very rural setting with stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. Roberta, the owner, is a wonderful host and great cook! The meals she prepares for her guests are out of this world and all cooked with fresh organic ingredients. A particular mention for her homemade pasta which is to die for....undoubtedly the best pasta we've eaten in the whole of Italy!! So light and tasty! Breakfast is also excellent with plenty of choice and again, everything homemade. The bedrooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. Mini bar available in the rooms and nice toiletries provided in the huge bathrooms! Wifi very efficient both in the main building where the dining/breakfast room is situated and in the bedroom area. Lovely terrace area outside the bedrooms with beautiful views and plenty of comfortable seating. Aia Della Colonna is near the Saturnia Terme but quite isolated and not easy to find. A car is a must to reach it and the road leading to it a bit rough in parts. But if you want quality food, accommodation and a great welcome, this is the place to stay! Highly recommend!

Reviewed By Gaia DI spent a week at la Rocca delle Pigne this summer, together with my boyfriend. We wanted a place to relax and enjoy Tuscany and we found it!! The place is in the middle of the typical tuscan countryside and at reasonable driving distance from the amenities of the Maremma area (e.g. Saturnia, Pienza, Argentario). Rooms are simple and clean, and dinners are great! Don't eat much at lunch otherwise you probably will have difficulties finishing Carlo's dinner and that would be a pity! We loved this place, but we wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants the beach in front of his door... Thanks Silvia and Carlo! :)

Beautiful cottages and stunning views!!
Reviewed By tomtomkuri2111We had a great time in Podere Sant'Angelo. The cottage is very clean and tidy and there is everything we'd need. The views from the windows are absolutely gorgeous looking out over unspoilt countryside, and we luckily saw wild deer too by chance! The sunset is just speechless!! You may think it is in the middle nowhere but we found it very calm and tranquil and good escape from the city life in London! There are many beautiful and interesting places within easy reach by car, but sometimes we just chose to stay in the lovely cottage and gardens. We really need this from time to time. Graham is always helpful and gave us useful advise where to go, what to see, drawing maps for us and the like. We would definitely recommend to couples, family with children etc...
